“Amazing. Highly recommended.”
Although this hotel was still under construction, the spaces are beautiful, clean and fresh. The rooms are spacious. The views are amazing towards the ocean, garden and swimming pools. The food is amazing, we had French, Italian, International and Mexican. The service and staff are superb. Beautiful grounds with many activities.
“very nice resort”
This resort is beautiful, its was my 3rd time in Mexico & by far the nicest resort.. the waters arent as blue/clear on the Pacific side but with that said the beach and pools are great! The staff is beyond wonderful, so helpful & wanting to please with a great attitude. The rooms are pretty & spacious. Be sure to read up on the dress codes of the resturants before packing. All of the food was good.. Really like the Salmon at the French resturant and the Sushi at the Japanese. Oceana has a nice lunch menu, u can eat at the resturant or order poolside :-) Sometimes it took the shower a few minutes to heat up but thats really ghe only the one negative thing I have to say
“Couples who MUST stay at Secrets Vallarta Bay.”
Perfect place for couples. A destination that goes out of their way to make your experience "personal". Details complimented each aspect of our experience. My husband and I have stayed at a few "all-inclusives" and by far this one has been our favorite. The staff made us feel like we were special and not just a number or "another tenant." We enjoyed all the food; exceptional by the way, including the Sushi and I am NOT a sushi fan. I am NOW. The mood was mellow all week and what activities we did participate in we had a blast doing them. Met some amazing new friends that are not keeping in touch with and moreover we had an unforgettable time. Secrets Vallarta NOW made us feel like we were "home" once we arrived....not many resorts can accomplish that, they try but this experience was amazing. The bartender in the Preferred Club remembered our favorite drinks and had them ready for us at the bar EACH day we came in from the pool. WOW! Again....WOW! Love that special touch. Let's see, the ONLY negative thing I can actually report is the "not a time share" time share presentation. Totally bugged us. It's a painful experience and one we will never say yes to again. BUT you get asked to sign up for the presentation upon your arrival. You have a choice to say yes or no. It would not have been so bad but the "shark" who took us the shark tank was very rude to us and insulted my husband and I. I would not let that reflect on my experience at the resort, however.
“Great time in PVR...............”
The hotel/resort was infact new and very nicely done. The finish work inside the rooms, even though the materials were top notch, the finishing of them was not done to exacting standards of a true 5 Star hotel. However my master suite was very nice and had a separate bedroom, we were pleased. I have no complaints. The staff, management, spa (terrific) and food was all 4 star quality. Would we go back....yes without any question. PV is a very nice place with a little wild west to keep you interested, but we felt safe and secure which is the most important.
