“This was our second visit. We'll be back!”

Staff were all very friendly and fun to interact with. Food selections were just fine by me. Lots of variety of pools and beach and activities to keep us pleasantly occupied. Can't wait to go back.

“Will be returning”

I just returned from PV, stayed at DeCamaron. A great place. There was some inconvienences. The bed was hard, though my wife and son slept well. Lunch and Dinner were not that great, though I found something to eat. Breakfast was great and on Thursday, they have a Mexican Fiesta and the food was great. The place was very clean. Check in and out was no problem. Drinks are a little weak, but if you tip the bartender, they will remember you and they will make the drinks better. Take a mug with you and they will fill it up no problems. Bucerias is a short walk down the beach. Small place, better buys there than in PV. If you go out the front, there is a little store next to the message place, the lady has some stuff to buy and good prices. Not a lot of stuff, but it made my wife happy. Over all, it was a great place, we had no problems. I have learned that nothing will ever be perfect. If something goes wrong, relax and it will be taken care of. Do you want to use your energy for fun or to be PO. If you have a chance to go to Las Caletas through Vallarta Adventure, do it, a great place and a great lunch. The Dolphin encounter was also great for my wife and son. We will be returning soon.

This hotel, and it's staff were totally accommodating. All our expectations, and needs were met, above and beyond what we had anticipated. The service was prompt, friendly, inviting, welcoming, and most of all entertaining. The dining options were second to none. The menu is designed to satisfy all types of tastes, and the quality and cleanliness was impecable. The hotel, and room was exceptionally clean, and constantly maintained. My travel partner and myself could not have asked for a more wonderful holiday experience, and we most definitely will be returning back. The most delightful part of our stay was the friendly, outgoing, talented staff.

“Excellent value, great fun!”

The Royal Decameron in Bucerias (north of Puerto Vallarta) is a remarkable value. This is the 2nd year we stayed there and it was just as great the second time around. The food is really good in the Flamingos Buffet (I preferred Flamingo to the Tropical) and the ala carte places are very good, with the exception of Piccolo which is EXCELLENT. The resort is about 10 K north of the airport and we had consistently clear weather while what we could see of Puerto Vallarta looked cloudy the whole time. This is a great resort for families with lots of kid stuff but plenty of adult entertainment available, too, or you can just sit on the beach and soak up the sun and the Margaritas! We will go again!

“Second time there- I'll be back!”

I love this place! The people who work there could not be nicer! The food is wonderful and the shows at night were always fun! I loved taking out the kayaks, and the beach is beautiful. If I could change one thing- the lounge chairs are the hard plastic kind that aren't that comfortable after an hour or two! But they were always available-never hard to find an available one!

Very nice hotel but there is no air conditioning anywhere but in the bedroom.

Overall a great holiday. December is a great time to visit PV. The hotel quality was way better than some 5* we have stayed at. I would recommend to anyone.

“chill out time”

Arrived at hotel early hours of morning, staff there to meet & greet,couldnt be more helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained. ALL staff are cheerful,friendly & helpful. Good selection of food, paricularly enjoyed the Thai food. Plenty of pools, beach area, and plent of sun loungers, although some people reserved the loungers with towels, but didnt return all day. Plenty of wildlife to enjoy. Enjoyed th eparade in Bucerias on Revolution day. Will definitely be going back next year.

“What a Fantastic stay”

The Hotel was Fantastic...it started of with us at the lobby counter waiting to get our bags brought to the room he rang five times for a bell boy, finally I was anxious and said lets just go... don't do it , the place is huge and you will be wandering aimlessly the only other problem was the hot showers were non existent... luke warm at best....5 calls to the front desk over three days...got us a bearable shower putting that aside this was an amazing hotel, staff were great...rooms were spotless...pools were so relaxing...beach was great....food was ever changing so never boring...ala carte Italian is a must do.... 15 pesos gets you a bus to downtown and is an adventure so many Canadians at the hotel , it was great I will be going back next year for sure !!!
