“Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort All Inclusive”
This was a fantastic holiday. The resort was very relaxing, efficient and enjoyable. We have nothing but GREAT things to say about the dining experiences, whether the flavourful buffet or the A La Cart. AMAZING! This should be a higher star rating, for sure. We will go back here in a heart beat!!!
“Worth the money”
Great value for the money. Super nice staff!
“Great little hotel”
We had a great time, this hotel is a small, quiet resort....nice pool, food and service. Not loud at night. FYI...There were a lot of kids splashing around the pool all day. The two really annoying things: Every lounge chair at the pool is "reserved" by 8:15am. Many sit empty until the afternoon with just a towel over them. The hotel has a policy that any chair left more than an hour unattended will have the things removed from it but they don't enforce it. Second...it's all inclusive except for bottled water which they make you pay $1 for...which I thought was a little strange.
“GIRLS TRIP”
Hotel is clean and well kept, there were issues with young children running freely in the hallways rapping on all the doors early a.m. Good value for the money. Staff very pleasant and friendly, many Canadians at the hotel, which makes the experience fun. Easy to communicate with people. I took my young 13 year old daughter with me, we had a girls trip, I felt she was safe at all times, people in Puerto Vallarta are very friendly, out going and generally kind people. I like this hotel so much I renewed my timeshare, I will be frequenting this resort. Tony is in charge of the activities, tell him the skater from Canada sent you, he will look after you really well. We had lots of fun!! I highly recommend this hotel.
“Been there many times”
We were unhappy with so many kids in the pool. Could not hardly use swim-up bar, kids used, should have age limit. They stay in pool all day & nite so pee is happing. Also they offer cheap deals all inclusive for unlimit amount of people in room, so it can get loud and big groups. It never used to be this bad, If you want to relax its hard with all the screaming, and crowed pool. I would not recommend for adults who want to vacation away from their kids. The service is good the food is pretty good, the drinks are made to order and good. But restful it is not!.
“Not so good as advertised, but godd value for the money.”
Stayed for 10 days in March 2011. First room was very old and beaten up. Asked for another room, and next day able to move. Second room a bit better, except the hotel is very old and there is no sound insulation between the rooms. You can hear every word from next room. Staff was very friendly and hard working. Amenities are not so good as in similar resorts. Pool only one, water was clean and warm, there is very small beach not possible to enjoy to swim. Food was very good, varieties limited, drinks selection also good. Wifi which you need to purchase extra is a joke, very slow and expensive, $10/Day. Overall it was good experience for the money. But I do not think I'll be back, there are many better choices around
