“Great for the Money!”
The service and food was excellent as well as the staff, very friendly. Our room was not as nice as we expected the pictures make it look a little more nicer than what it really was, but the pool and all the other amenities were well worth the money! Great place to stay but I suggest getting the upgraded rooms :)
“Great Great Place”
The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and always going the extra mile. They made activity arrangements for us, ordered our pizza, made sure we had everything we needed at all time. Each area of the resort was clean, staffed, and ready for vacationers. Breakfast was the best meal of the day, complete with made to order omlets. The buffet were decent and we could always find a few things that looked good. The nice restaurants on the property were fabulous! There were plenty of lounge chairs for as many sun seekers as were around. We never had a problem finding somewhere to catch some sun. The pools felt the best in the morning as the water was cool, but warmed up from the sun by afternoon. The dinner shows were a lot of fun! I would reccomend this hotel for anyone. We are for sure going to stay here again the next time we are in Puerto Vallarta.
“Best time we've had in Mexico”
The Hotel and staff were first class, location we found was good because we were in the middle between the Marina and Downtown very reasonable cost for Taxi service where ever you want to go. There is a small tour office right opposite the Hotel called X.L.N.T tours very reasonable prices you'll be glad you went there(Jorge and Pedro owners)
“Would love to go back”
We had a great time and would love to go back! Preferred sect. 2 to sect. 1. We had awesome service, everyone was very polite and helpful. There was always food to be found, whether at the buffets or snack bars. Even when it was pouring rain they brought out snacks to the pool bar at 11:00 pm. There was a lot of variety of food, but not great quality. Go to the grills in the corner, they will make food on request.
“Very Nice vacation would go back”
The hotel was very clean, the staff was very very friendly. There were plenty of excursions to choose from. Housekeeping did an excellent job. The breakfast buffet basically was the same every other day.But really good. One downfall our room wasn't ready at the 3:00 check in time. That didn't change the fact that we had a Very Nice Vacation, and would diffently return agian.
“More than you ever expected”
The sole reason for chosing Los Pelicanos was the reviews it received on Expedia and it just seemed too good to be true - all the great reviews - with the price and the hotel's rating, so we went in not expecting too much. What we discovered was a large, very clean, extremely friendly, fun resort in a neat city. The weather was fine for being in the rainy season. The food some people didn't like was good with plenty of variety and lots of options outside the resort a block away. There was always a place to get food and drinks, staff were always cleaning everything, and you felt like you were welcome anywhere you went. The ocean is right in front which as also great. We had an incredible time. Guys - it helps too if you bring the most beautiful woman at the resort like I did - if that's not an option well...that's where the unlimited alcohol comes in :) Seriously though, great place for the money!
“So Much Fun”
September is the best time to go it is there slow season, but there is still so much to do. The hotel was wonderful. I could not have asked for a better vacation. Do plan on having some dinners away from the hotels you can only eat some much of the buffets.
“Great location, clean, and fun”
Rooms were clean, comfortable, accessible, and convenient to the rest of the resort. Food was very good; numerous options: buffet, formal restaurants, poolside. All-inclusive package was a great deal, especially for families. Plenty of activities: tennis; swimming; basketball; volleyball; kayaks; etc. Staff was always courteous and helpful. Workers kept everything clean and organized during the day; pools were very clean. Pool activities director was full of energy. 5 minute bus ride (50 cents) to downtown; $5 cab ride. View from hotel was spectacular; we even saw whales one day.
“Great time...will go back.”
When we arrived there was a mix up in our room reservation. It took until the next day to clear up. The concierge, Ivette, was fabulous. She helped us get into a beautiful room and had the best customer service attitude. All of the staff was helpful. The food was ok, pretty much what I expected. I would rank our best meal the one we had in the Italian restaurant in the resort. Thank you to the Plaza Pelicanos Staff.
“Would definetly go back”
This hotel was a pure joy to stay at, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the room were clean and comfortable. The pools were nice but could hav used a little more of a daily clean, but they were still fairly clean. The hotel is really centerally located everything is within a 20 minute walk or a $5 cab ride.Over all there is really no complaints. I would definetly stay there upon visiting vallarta again.
