The property was alright. I didn’t like how far the gym was or some of the areas where you needed to take a trolly to. I was upset that no one gave us a map when we arrived. We had no idea where anything was other than one restaurant and the pool for a couple days. I also disliked the service. They took so long even if you were the only people at the restaurant. Another issue I had was that they always restocked the mini fridge and snacks but would never leave us water. Service sucked. We went to hangout at the upper pool once we found out about it but no one even came to ask us if we needed anything to drink or anything. There wasn’t many people and we were there for about 30 -45 min before deciding to leave due to children being hungry and thirsty. They came to ask us if we would like a beverage when we had stood up to leave. I was also upset to find out that there was an age limit for the children at the kids club. I don’t think this is a good place for families. There wasn’t much for them to do. I’ve been to better more family friendly hotels in the past but this isn’t it. I would definitely not recommend this place for families or anyone. I definitely won’t be coming back, with or without children.

Garza Blanca provided an exceptional stay. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the honeymoon suite, which was truly amazing. Featuring a 180-degree balcony, a hot tub, and a jacuzzi, the suite was incredibly spacious. Overall, my experience was fantastic. The beach and pool areas were impeccably maintained and clean. The staff were friendly, attentive, and proficient in English. However, the only aspect that fell short was the food. Blanca Blue, the poolside restaurant, and Bocados (the steakhouse) were merely satisfactory, lacking any standout dishes. The hotel could significantly improve by hiring a new chef or implementing a new food program. The Tierraluna gardens were aesthetically pleasing, yet during the daytime, they felt desolate as the stores were open but devoid of staff, creating an eerie atmosphere. The trolley service was highly practical. It's worth noting that this hotel is very family-friendly, so if you seek a more private or adult-oriented experience, it may not be the ideal choice. Nevertheless, I am thoroughly pleased with the all-inclusive experience and would gladly return in the future.

The property was really nice. The pools are amazing overlooking the ocean. The resort is right on the beach where you can go back and forth from the beach to the resort. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service was amazing and the resort offered a trolly to take you from one side of the resort to the other. The things that I didn't like are, there were very few options for vegans and we were constantly hassled by the concierge service to buy into the timeshare. We felt very uncomfortable walking through the lobby because we were always chased down to ask to talk about the timeshare and how they would give us a certain percentage off on any merch that we bought, etc.

Time share hotel not great. Room availability terrible. Competing with owners and their guests for space. Had to sleep on a cot bed in a 5 star hotel, worst ever. Concierge service not very good compared to other hotels. The only bright side was the location, food and all the other employees working at the resort: Waiters, hostess, housekeeping, bartenders, attendants all were excellent

The room was great! We had a hot tub on our balcony, which I used every day; 2 comfortable lounges; a very comfortable bed; and our chambermaid, Rosa, went out of her way to make our stay special.

I absolutely loved my stay here! I felt like everyone treated me like a queen. Everything was very clean. One thing I didn’t know is that if you do all inclusive, you can eat at the restaurants at the hotel as well. I’m so appreciative for the trolley. I had never been to Mexico before and was impressed with everyone’s ability to speak English and the way they treated you. Perfect sunsets. Amazing rooms with hammocks on them. The spa was AMAZING and the service was amazing there too. Not a big party place if that’s what you’re looking for. But they did have a Dj by the main pool one day. 45 min from the airport sucked but it was worth it.

They don’t seem to like to do upgrades and seem to ignore Expedia Platnum membership benefits except for bottle of wine. We had to almost fight for a room upgrade. Only given two nights but it was wonderful. This is our second time staying here both times they did not let us check in early. Other than that this is a wonderful place with great food and staff. Beach is small but pools are nice. Kayaking is fantastic.

This is my first stay at Garza Blanca but definitely not my last. Already planning a trip to come back in a couple of months and bringing a group of people with me. Ronaldo, Mike, Eduardo, & Christian made this trip even better than I imagined. I came alone but these people specifically stood out at making me feel included, continuously happy, comfortable and as if my presence was genuinely valued. I thoroughly enjoyed the stretching class, Tai Chi, yoga, salsa dancing lessons, multiple hikes & swims to a gorgeous waterfall, and games on the beach. Was here for 6 days and still feel there was more for me to try and experience as there is no shortage on activities and restaurants. Part of my profession is being a Private Chef for high profile families and I can guarantee there is absolutely incredible food and service. I posted many photos and videos on my social media and have had 47 people *and counting* reach out to know where this incredible place is. Will continue to share with anyone and everyone looking to be completely and utterly happy. Thank you for such a beyond pleasant experience looking forward to being back soon. - Betty Boop ❤️

Generally this is a fantasic hotel... beautiful property, well maintained, very clean and excellent services. Unfortunately our Expedia VIP status was not acknowledged. Also, the doors to the rooms are not closed at the top or bottom, so sound carries into the room. We were woken several times from noise in the hallway and partying from the building behind ours.

I really enjoyed the restaurants and the staff here. I love my hot tub and hammock on the balcony . The heated Toliet in room was a plus . Some issues I had were my package included a bottle had to ask 3 times for this .. walked into my room the blinds and lights were working . Very disappointed since paid such a high price .. room service button on iPad did not work then had to call front desk for orders room service took forever don’t recommend .. and then our tv and controller didn’t work on e asked to be changed rooms were not accomdated at all . Also very first night made a reservation for dinner when we got to the restaurant the host saidit wasn’t there . Our snacks and mini bar weren’t refilled same thing we had to call front desk for this service .Honestly not. A good experience one thing after another . Won’t be coming back. More cons then pros .

Hotel quality and room size are good. However, I did not receive the Expedia VIP benefits. Of the three rooms, only one room received wine and the other rooms did not. I also gave it to you after I complained. I didn't receive a room upgrade because many of the rooms seemed to be empty. When I arrived at the hotel around 6pm, I waited for about 20 to 30 minutes because the room was not ready. Everyone except the front desk person was friendly and nice.

For the most part it was quiet around pool which was very enjoyable and relaxing. Staff and service is amazing. Moon our concierge was fantastic. She made all our reservations for restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian and then the steakhouse. I feel housekeeping is short handed and over burdened. It was late afternoons before our room was cleaned and turned down service was later than desired. We did not receive an upgraded room and we were kinda ignored when that was mentioned. Also more lunch options would be nice.

The upgrade was fantastic! The people wereall all very good to deal with. The room that we received was greaat but it seemed like it was not quiteresdy for us. There were no fins on the fans and the the deck needed a good sweep.

A relaxing and friendly atmosphere. We especially loved how friendly and kind Mike was, who was our guide for the hike and the ceviche making class! The staff took time to remember names and to keep track of little details. The grounds were stunning and the beach was great.
