“Relaxing Puerto Vallarta”
This hotel was spectacular. The service was amazing, people were extremely friendly, and there were many activities to do, all day every day if interested. Servers would introduce themselves and let you know when their shift was over and who would be taking over your care. They were attentive and kind. The hotel is authentic looking, has excellent food - some traditional Mexican meals, but also 'plain' (still delicious) food available for those who do not like trying new things. The hotel is in a great location, 10 minute bus ride from downtown - I took the city bus and felt completely safe - and only 5 pesos! I would definately go back!! I had a wonderful trip!
“Had a great time!”
This hotel was great! The service was excellent, the room was always kept clean, the food was great (for the price - we did the all-inclusive option and are SO glad that we did). I really liked that all of the rooms available are ocean-view with a small balcony. We also really enjoyed the 'adults only' pool - there is another pool for the kids. The adults only pool was absolutely beautiful!
“All inclusive was very rewarding”
overall felt very warm with the hotel, the staff was good, the all inclusive breakfast, lunch, Dinner and even cocktails were great and there was not pressure on the time. Did not have to rush to make it for breakfast as it was open until 11:00 AM there was constant food around so had no reason to venture outside for anything. Overall good for relaxation. Just lie down on the beach and do nothing else
“Excellent mid price hotel”
Although this isn't a "wow" place as far as Lobby, Pool, Food etc., It is actually a great place to stay. All the above mentioned amenities are very, very adequate. And the best part is every room has a good view of the ocean.
“Good quality at a good price!!”
Excellent service from all the staff, good food if you like buffet style. Clean and spacious rooms
“Great hotel!”
The Hola was a wonderful hotel to stay in. THe people were so extremely nice, it was unbelievable. They did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. The room was huge, clean, and had the most awesome view! I was sad to read all the bad reviews about the hotel- to me it just sounded like people are way to picky and rude. After all, you get what you are paying for. You are not paying that much to stay at the Hola, so for the money- it is an incredible. I would recommend the hotel to anyway. It was a great stay!
“Very Impressed!”
We initially were planning to travel to Cancun, but due to Hurricane Wilma, we had to divert. Thank goodness we did! Found this hotel to be such a great surprise. Staff very friendly and informative. Food was excellent as the menu changed everyday! Would definitely look forward to going to same place next year!
“Will be back in 8 months!!!”
We took our family of adult children to the Hola in December 2010, and enjoyed it so much my husband and I returned in March, 2011. The best part of the Hola is the staff. Be sure you bring a copy of your reservation email along. If you have that, you can check in in record time! If your room is not ready, you can change in the spa and spend the day on the beach until it is. The staff is second to none. Drinks are okay. Food is better than what we've found in other A-I's. Centrally located...a quick trip to old town or the marina. Ignore everyone in the airport. If you walk out to the street, you can get a cheaper cab. Otherwise, it's almost three times as much to the Hola from the airport than it is to get back. Tip the staff at the Hola. Many work for only a few dollars US per day, so tips are essential for their survival. Look up Abraham on the beach and he'll gladly bring chairs, cushions, umbrellas, and tables. Waiters will bring you food and drinks on the beach. My husband and I and several friends plan to go back in December for our 30th wedding anniversary. You can definitely find nicer rooms in Mexico, but we go to the room only to shower and sleep so rooms make no difference to us. The people make this resort, and PV weather is always the same. BORING. :-) Sunny, warm, and fantastic every day. You should go there!!!
“AMAZING!!”
CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK AGAIN, AND AGAIN!
“cant wait to go back”
