“Great place for a faily reunion”
This was our first trip to Mexico and we wanted a place to stay for all the family to get together from Canada and Australia. Dreams was a perfect location and Puerto Vallarta was a great place to visit. The staff were wonderful and always greeted us with a friendly 'Hola'. Our family included four grand children aged from 2 to 11 and there was always plenty to do including swimming playing on the beach and best of all the release of turtles each night. The food was good and the selection of where to eat each day was an important part of the day. The celebration of a major birthday was also an important part of our stay, thanks to the staff.
“Dreams resort is precisely that”
Staff in restaurants and hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was excellent as were the drinks. Having their own private beach away from the normal strip made it les congested and more accommodating. The only down side is the rooms are decorated very simply, however they all have outstanding ocean views which is hard to find at most resort. This is my third stay at Dreams in Puerto Vallarta and I would recommend it to anyone.
“First time all inclusive traveller”
I generally don't like the idea of all inclusive, but we decided to try it this time with another couple. I'm usually worried the food will get boring and stale - or just be plain low quality. The food is amazing, very well done. After a while you start to recognize the same cuts and food types (they only buy certain meat and produce) but they do a good job of repurposing it as best they can. The place is located in a private beach and is unbelievably relaxing. No wrist bands to wear, no bars far away and good quality alcohol. Of course the best part is probably the staff and how friendly they are. Just a real pleasure to experience. Only gripe would be the check-in process as they make you listen to a promotion of their new "Now" hotel in downtown PV and give you these hokey coupons, when all you want is to take your clothes off and jump in the water. Go - you won't regret it.
“No alcohol can be sold during election day”
We were there over the Federal elections. By law, no alcohol can be sold the day of and the day before the elections. (A Saturday and a Sunday in our case.) No one warned us about this. Not Expedia, not Dreams. All of a sudden, the bars were closing. Dreams did find ways to accomodate its guests, apparently unlike other all inclusives. But it would have been helpful to know in advance. The room was beautiful, and even on the second floor (12th according to the elevator and room number) we had a drop dead view in the new tower.
“We really enjoyed Dreams Puerto Vallarta”
A very affordable vacation! We were there for Thanksgiving and they had an incredible dinner by the pool with a pilgrim theme. There was something going on every night. Most nights, we enjoyed a quiet dinner in one of the restaurants, but even the buffets were great. The vendors selling stuff on the beach within the resport were abundant but not too annoying. They were respectful when we declined. I came to relax and lay on the beach, not shop, but I know they're just trying to earn a living. We did contract with one gentleman with a boat who took us snorkling out to Los Archos and that was great. Take advantage of room service for no additional charge, though the menu is limited.
“Nice place for kids and couples”
Very cool and safe for the kids. The beach is beautiful and clean. The food was good.
“Great stay, very impressed”
We loved the Dreams resort! The service all around was great: the reception, bartenders, waiters. They work hard to provide the service anywhere you are. The food was surpsingly good, even in the buffet. We really enjoyed the Seaside Grill for dinner. Having a private beach was fantastic because it wasn't too crowded. Cabs were easily available whenever you needed them. The hotel provided good nightly enertainment. The only annoying thing was the time-share salespeople and some of the sellers walking around on the beach offering their stuff over and over again.
“We are already booking another trip!”
It was the best resort experience we ever had! The staff was always happy and glad to accomodate us with any need or request. The food was incredible and the even it's presentation was outstanding. The hotel took great pride in providing a beautiful environment and excellent customer service!
“Dreams PVR”
I would definetly recommend the Dreams resort. We stayed in a jaccuzi suite and it was amazing. Having our own private balcony with a jaccuzi was a real bonus. The veiw of the beach and ocean was great. The room was very nice and clean. For an all inclusive the food was very good. There are alot of choices each night. Although I think one restaurant is closed each night there are enough different places to eat that it really does not matter. It definetly is not gourmet or anything but you should'nt have any problems finding something good to eat. Drinks are way better than most all inclusives, top shelf. I thik by far the best thing about this hotel was the private beach. They keep it spotless and we never had any trouble finding a chair. The staff was very friendly and helpful and would help you any way they could.
“Nice”
Very Impressed would recommend it to anyone.
