“iam ready to go back today”
We yust came back from Mexico had a great time we stayed from oct12-oct20 at the Mesa del mar.The room was great no mold very clean fantastic view to the ocean the food was good and the drinks are not watered down. You can walk to town or for 4Dollars take a taxi.We will go back in May.
“Great Location”
When we arrived we had a room in the ocean front building, the room was dark and musty the only window looked at a wall outside, after a few days we changed rooms at no charge and it was great. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. We were happy with the location, being right next to downtown and the Malcon. The cab rides only cost about 3 dollars. The beach is nice, although you have to get down there early to get chairs and shade. The food was ok, there are so many nice places to eat we didn't stay there for dinner much. Over all I think it was a great deal.. We had an awsome time, would go back, We would get a sweet next time.
“very large room! nice”
hotel was old but they sure were trying to please
“Management Needs an Attitude Change”
I booked this hotel for its pricing, but later found out that I would have been better paying a little more for one across the way. The management at this hotel needs a transplant, they tried ripping me off with some key deposits, and safe costing. The staff were awesome here. They work for the tips, so no tips means you will be waiting a long time for service. The hotel has a good breakfast, and the beach is great, not to overcrowded, however, they do not have enough umbrellas for everyone so people will go out at 6am to mark their territory, so they have shade all day... Perhaps another place the management is cheap on and will not spend some money to buy 10 dollar umbrellas. Overall, the place needs some upgrades, and with some new management, it will do well.
“Don't be fooled!”
This hotel was not what I expected at all! The hotel is so far from downtown you need a taxi each way. The hotel is old and the elevators didn't work and when they did they would get stuck. The beds were also old and worn, the rooms had no TV's or alarm clocks. The only thing decent about this hotel was their food and the staff's friendly service.
“Not at all what we expected”
This hotel does not look anything like it does in the pictures! Our room was very dirty when we got there. we had to have maintenance come to our room as soon as we got there because the door opening to the terrace had a broken lock. The bathroom had mold in the shower and on the floor. if you moved the piece of plastic covering the drains in the bathroom a sewage smell would seep through the floors. When we asked to switch rooms, they told us there were no open rooms available. we had to pay to use the tv. the furniture in our suite was patio furniture. The refrigerator reaked and was unusable. On the plus side, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Their rooms service did an excellent job of cleaning the rooms....or as much as could be cleaned in those rooms. I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anybody. We will def. go back to Puerto Vallarta but we will not be staying at this hotel!
“Blue Bracelet”
For an all inclusive hotel - they have too much security! they give you a blue bracelet at check in - that should be enough to flag the hotel workers that you are thier guest, Guess what NO! They don't allow visitors of any kind only their guest are welcome - if you have family staying at a diferent hotel they are not welcome in to the premises. Other than that Great location, really close to Down Town (Centro).
“A waste of money”
We reserved a ocean view room.. I called the day before we got there to confirm this. When we arrived it was near impossible to even communicate enough to check in..they could not hardly speak any english. The room was not ocean view as we had requested and checked on the day before. The room was very dirty with mold on walls and all over bathroom floor. The room faced the mountain and so it was very dark in the room. When I told the guy at the desk that we were suppose to have a ocean view he said they had none. then he told us that the ocean view rooms had only twin beds, there was three of us. The ad online said King sz. bed or two dbl. They would not move us to another room so we had to pay for another hotel out of our pocket and pay for our food too.
