“AWESOME!!!!”
Located in the heart of puerto vallerta el centro...perfect location!! made friends with most of the staff very nice, freindly people and the rooms have comfortable bed with amazing views . This is my second time staying at this hotel and would definitly stay again.
“Unique and affordable hotel in PV”
The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had one of the best rooms with a gorgeous view (master suite) - it was really clean and comfortable. We went during the rainy season, so things were a little wet... but the air conditioning in the room functioned really well! Very unique atmosphere, and it was great not to be staying in one of those huge resorts. The bed was comfortable and the room had a huge TV (a little unnecessary for this type of trip - but I could see it being an advantage if you got sick or went to PV on business). Very close to the beach, malecon, and other areas outside of PV (like Mismaloya). We walked everywhere and got to see a side of PV that most tourists don't. Highly recommended! We didn't take advantage of the spa services (though next time we will) - but we liked the rooftop pool.
“Amaca Hotel and Spa is the place to stay-clean and very reasonable!!”
If you are looking for a clean, beautiful and reasonably priced hotel - Amaca Hotel and Spa is the place to stay!!!!
“Highly Recommended!!”
We lucked out finding this hidden treasure. Staff was more than helpful. Definitely would stay here again!!!
“Great Hotel”
The hotel was awsome!! its not your regular hotel with 100 rooms and noisy. It is very quite. The rooms where very clean and modern nice view. The hotel was walking distance to the Malecon (boardwalk) . Everybody there was extremly helpful about recomending us places to go eat and tours to take. overall our experience was very pleseant.
“Geat Place”
This is an unusual hotel,,small but intimate and very safe ..Ignacio and the staff cant do enough for you,,I loved the roof pool small but adequate...and a fabulous place to sun bathe with lovely views..There are many stairs to get to the beach etc....I stayed 3 weeks in November 2010.....and looked well when I left.......For American local brekky try Fredys toucan-you wont be disappointed...Garbos is a great bar..I am not Gay but I liked the ambience and music here and many ladies loved the place too...A lovely oasis...I am going back in Feb..2011 for peace and quiet and this is the place...
“Relaxing but close to everything”
The hotel is quietly removed from the main part of Old Town PV, but. Within a convenient walk down some stairs toall the shopping, services, restaurants, clubs & bars, and the beach. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are simple but impeccably clean. The rooftop deck has gorgeous views of PV. My only regret is that the hotel lacked energy because it was virtually empty during my stay
“Amaca, a great little hotel”
The staff and Ignacio the Manager were very nice and friendly. The lobby was staffed around the clock. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and there’s a hammock in every room. . It is a small quite hotel that is close to every thing. Located on Pino Suarez and Pulpito near the costera a barra de navidad. The hotel is behind the Oxxo and Subway. It is a short hike to restaurants or bus lines. To reach the lobby and the rooms, you need to go up a few stairs there is no elevator. They did provide a water dispenser near the lobby. Workers were painting and repairing roof shingles and other items while we were there so they are really cleaning the place up. We did spend some time on the roof. There’s a small wading pool. The views were amazing – you could see all around the bay, as well as across town. The roof could use some better shade areas for the guests to enjoy the space. Wireless Internet was available. The signal was a little weak from our room – but usable. Our unit had a small balcony and you could see a portion of the bay and the south side looking towards Cetro. Overall it is a great hotel and I will definitely be back.
“Awsome View”
Very Clean, Friendly Staff, very nice roff top pool. Hamock in room was a nice touch.
“Hotel Amaca”
Simple but quaint. A finicky "shade" separates the shower and toilet, pleasant balcony and modern decor. Had to ask for glasses or drinking water but had a private hamock in the room! Simple, pleasant and clean - no problem with street noise ont he north side of the hotel and a beautiful top level with small pool. Other amenities avaiable upon request. Close to viejo Vallarta.
