Ok, I always give a little bit of leeway to beachfront hotels for maintenance because with a constant stream of customers tracking in sand and saltwater, and with the onslaught of seawater, humidity, and wind from being on the ocean, I expect there to be a little bit of salt on the windows and some fading of paint and carpets, So while the Ritz Carlton wasn't absolutely pristine, it was still an amazing stay.
The staff is absolutely amazing. The staff on the beach will set up an umbrella, put on a lounge cover, bring you towels, and give you everything you need for a day at the beach Sunscreen and bug spray are available at the beach entrance. There is also security at the entrance to make sure no one enters the property who isn't staying there. The pool staff is equally conscientious. They clear unused chairs frequently and will move umbrellas to allow you to sit in the shade Once again, sunscreen and bug spray are provided, along with citrus water which is ic cold and refilled frequently. I can't say enough about the staff in the restaurants. They remembered us from visit to visit, no matter which on sire restaurant we visited. The ocean front restaurant has amazing views and the food is excellent. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and the barista struck up a conversation with me, gave me a party, and had the pastry chef make me guava pastries for the next day after hearing I hadn't tried guava before. Its an amazing property with an amazing staff.
