Beach house rentalPosted 26-Mar-2014
Pros: Overall, they have excellent food and their staffs are amazing.
Cons: Rooms can be polish like a fresh coat of paint, picture frames, and screens on the windows to get the morning breeze.
My hotel room was very small, the floor were very sandy, no phone, alarm clock, hair dryer, or iron. I feel like things should automatically be in each room.

Overpriced guesthouse not shabby chic luxuryPosted 26-Feb-2014
Pros: The staff and location right on the beach
Cons: regular maid service, less techno/house dj music, more ammennities or a reduced price
I'm certainly not someone who needs/wants very fancy accommodations. With that said I think his "boutique hotel" really misrepresents itself in it's description. I've stayed in guest houses on islands for about 1/3 of the price and had the same experience. The staff was wonderful and friendly and did the best they could given what the hotel was able to offer. The linens were not cleaned upon arrival and maid services needed to be requested multiple times in order for the room to be cleaned. Again this would not have bothered me if I was not paying for a nicer experience. Not to mention they charged for an upgrade to have a room with two beds. God forbid your "2 person" booking is not with a significant other (like it's the most romantic setting anyway) and you don't want to share a bed, then it'll cost you extra for a 2nd uncomfortable bed. Bottom line if you don't need luxury you can find a cheaper place and if you do want a splash of it, you can probably find it at a similar price at a different hotel.

BEST LOCATION, 0CEANVIEW AND SERVICEPosted 13-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
I recomend this boutique hotel 100% the service was impecable. Servers like Edward and Carlitos made the experience unforgatable. From the amazing food to the delicious drinks that never stop coming. They made us feel at home and we didn't want to leave. Is a small hotel with little luxury inside the rooms but breathtaking view up close and personal of the georgous beach. Xavier and joel were taking care of all our needs from towels to beach chairs to parking. No need to stay in an expensive hotel next door when The Beach house has an affordable rate with impecable service and view.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us at The Beach House Hotel. In particular we appreciate your positive comments regarding our employees and service and you may rest assured we will share this information with them. It is our pleasure to have you as our guests and look forward to your return visit soon!

Horrible management!!! Private party literally rattled room with music all night. Actual motel-inn not even close to what's advertised on their website.Posted 9-Jan-2014
Pros: The inn is right in front of the beach.
Cons: The rooms are filthy and their website is false advertising. Private parties start without notice and the music literally shakes your room all night.
Location: The inn is located on the northern tip of Carolina, connected to the beach of Isla Verde. There are sand fleas on the beaches where trees are nearby.
My trip in Puerto Rico was complete ruined by this nightclub pretending to be a motel inn, beach cabin, or whatever else it may seem, but definitely not even close to a hotel as advertised on their website. The "hotel" was a small two-story inn with no fridges, hangers (asked but just looked at weird), or windows (except in one suite room, supposedly). When checking in, I was told everything is ready except for towels but I opened my room to find bags of trash on the floor, unopened beer and other things left behind which resulted in a lost hour of waiting with all our luggage. Breakfast was "included" but consisted of white bread, cheddar cheese, box cereal, and minimal fruits. On a Friday night they had a private event where middle aged locals were having a social party. The crowd seemed nice and mature but the DJ was in his own world blasting deep electronica beyond logic. No one was really dancing but the pounding bass was so loud my room was literally shaking ALL NIGHT! I was there with a 10 month old baby crying all night and my wife and I trying to sleep in order to catch a 5AM flight. I went to the lobby three times to request them to lower the music or at least consider a refund for the night and was blown off by the manager. He made it my fault, asking "When booking the hotel, did you ask if there was private event this week"? It's obvious the inn favors private parties over guests paying to sleep there. The inn gives a bad impression of the beautiful island.

WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!!Posted 5-Jan-2014
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO LIKE.
Cons: The place should be torn down and rebuilt.
Not sure where to begin from, but here is the recap of this hotel: - i got a towel with a blood stain on it; - room was disgusting - old hotel, more like a hostel; - room windows did not open, absolutely no fresh air and the humidity on the island made the setting smell like it is rotten; - the place was running a restaurant on the beach which turned into a disco after 4 p.m. and it blasted until 2 a.m. If you'd like to sleep at all during your stay, the manageemnt will make sure this does not happen; - the staff was incredibly rude. At breakfast they literally pushed me to the side one morning so the staff gets food/coffee first. The lady who almost ran me over from the staff got the last cup of coffee and they never refilled it after, even though i waited for them to do it for over an hour; - i can keep going but trust me- THIS IS NOT THE PLACE YOU WANT TO. I am a very easy traveler, having grown up in poorer countries and orphanages. It was WORST than the worst place I have been to. Yes, that bad.

Stay was good, but entrance is very hard to find. need a sign out by the road. Parking is very limited and the rooms are nothing fancy, but sufficient. Food at hotel was very good, probably the best I had while in San Juan, and the beach was fantastic. For the price was happy with my stay at the Beach House.

So so....!!! Good for couples!!!Posted 8-Dec-2013
Pros: Location, staff friendly, close from the airport, on the beach. At night looks very romantic for a nice dinner.
Cons: Renew furniture. The breakfast area no one there, no tables , no chairs, and help yourself the best you can. Front desk needs more attention.
Location: Pharmacy, restaurants, fast food eating, hotels, bars, rental car ,close to main areas in a walking distance. Prices around overpriced.
The hotel is located in a nice area. Walking distance for several stores and restaurants. I spent only one night and the rate was special on those dates $63 but according with new rates is because the location. The hotel is not bad is very simple that needs a lot of improvements for the high rates they offer during seasons. Not worth it as it is now for more than $80 per day. Restaurant is nice and looks very romantic, little bit ovepriced. But the high cost is because is on the beach. I do not recommend this hotel for more than 2 persons. My staying was pleased and ok. I am not very demanding, but YES DEFINITELY needs improvement quality in rooms and furniture. It is a beach house hotel...not a luxury hotel. Ok?
