Awesome place on the beach! Drinks were expensive at the hotel, but there's a great taco place that's cheap 2 blocks down, open 24 hours! We can't wait to go back!

Cons: New decking at entrance.
It is a beach house. Sand! Food great! Beach great! Sand in room,,, You are surrounded with sand and wind. Loved it and wanted to stay longer but no time. Want to come again and stay for a week! The building and decking is old but working. A good place to swim, party, or relax in the sun!

Pros: Location is OK.
Cons: Everything! Starting with the staff customer service.
Location: Walking distance to the Intercontinental and El San Juan Resort
This hotel is absolutely NOT recommended! The experience was Horrible! The only good thing is the location.

The food and drinks were way overpriced. We felt like we were scammed. Staff was also reluctant to provide extra towels and knowledge for things to do locally.

Where Dogs Go to Die

Posted 3-Mar-2015
This hotel is waaaay past it's prime. The owner needs to update drastically. The rooms are more motel than hotel; and I was very happy I bought my bleach wipes. My first night checking in - the room had not been cleaned. I had to request new sheets (as the ones there were covered in hair). To be fair there are good things about this hotel. 1.) I found the staff to be wonderful. They are just at a loss in dealing with a hotel in such a state, and 2.) The beach and location are fantastic - it's close to everything (walking). But I would prefer comfort in my room. Honestly the Howard Johnson is probably a better stay. In the end I'd say visit the bar and stay elsewhere. :)

nightclub with crash pads

Posted 3-Mar-2015
This really isn't a hotel as much as its a nightclub with crash pads. The techno music blares late into the night (2:30am on Saturday), and it rattles everything. The rooms were filthy and full of beach sand, the beds were awful, the bathroom was dirty and smelled. The hotel staff was nice enough and it's truly right on the beach but it's not worth the money or your time. Avoid this place.

Highly recommended. Great food at hotel bar/restaurant, best section of beach around the area, tons of restaurants within .5 mile.

ひどいホテルだった

Posted 24-Feb-2015
Pros:
