Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided along with direct-dial phones, complimentary newspapers, and in-room safes (accommodate laptops). Bathrooms include showers and makeup/shaving mirrors. Rooms also include air conditioning. Housekeeping is provided and irons/ironing boards can be requested. Rollaway beds are also available.
Renovation of all guestrooms was completed in September 2008.

“cheep place near the beach”
Sandy Beach hotel is a cheep place to lay your head for one night. It is very close to the beach. For this price range it is a good deal.
“Sandy Beach worth the los price for sure!”
We did not expect this place to be fancy and it was not however it was just fine. It was right across the street from our hotel for the following 2 nights so no taxi needed to move. They offered a little no frills breakfast and were very curteous. The place was in good shape and it was clean. The beach is just steps away and the neighborhood can't be beat, unless you want to be right in old town. I'd recommend it for the price we paid!
“perfect spot”
for the locatiion it was in, it was perfect, walking distance to everything, the beach was steps away from the hotel and the strip was a block away. very close to everything, it was wonderful! the hotel staff left you alone but it you needed something they are there. I will differently come back to this hotel again on my next P.R. trip
“Best budget location in San Juan”
Don't expect luxury here - you're not paying for it. This is a budget hotel in the best location for beaches, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, all in easy walking distance. It's convenient to the major highways for day trips, too. We spent little time in our standard room, but it was adequate for our needs. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Abner, Chris, Ivelisse and Jose are to be commended for their professionalism. There is no parking here, and limited discount access to a nearby lot, so be sure to ask for a parking card as soon as you arrive to insure easy parking. I will go back to this hotel and for travelers not looking for luxury, but a great location and good prices, this is highly recommended.
“BETTER THAN EXPECTED AND LOVED THE LOCATION”
a group of us stayed here after our cruise and thought it was a great deal for what we paid! just steps from the beach, lots of great restaurants nearby and a starbucks within a block from hotel!
“A Nice Stay”
The Sandy Beach is definetly a smaller hotel and lacks the amenities of larger ones; however, the hotel staff is so nice and helpful and willing to do whatever necessary to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would stay there again.
“Will return.”
The hotel was in one of the best sections of Puerto Rico. A nice, free beach was less than a block away. To go to Old San Juan, the bus was at the corner, and the ride was about 4 miles. It all contributed to a wonderful day and a half spent in San Juan before we boarded our ship. We will revisit Puerto Rico......the people were friendly and nice, and we heard great things about living conditions there.
“Perfect if you're staying for a few days”
We were only staying a night so this was perfect for the price. Staff were very accomodable. We were allowed to check in early, given extra towels for our wet excursions, and stored our luggage for free for most of the day before our cruise left at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying a few days and not looking for all the bells and whistles.

Great location,seconds from beach.Happy with the room.Nice size after cruising for a week.We only spent one night but wish I could of stayed longer. Decent breakfast, Great coffee!!!Which we took with us to watch the sunrise. Good price and good value.
