“Puerto Rico beyond San Juan”
This Villa is old but well maintained. If you are looking for luxury this is not for you, but if you are looking for a beautiful, quiet, and comfortable place off the beaten track this is the best choice. This is the Puerto Rico that most people do not see. The staff was helpful and friendly. The surrounding area had everything we wanted or needed. If you want to see big hotels and resorts again this is not the place but if you like mountains, forest, flowers, and ocean vistas you can't go wrong. We will be back
“A very positive, relaxing stay... can't wait to go back”
Staff is very hospitable, clean and safe environment. There were activities for the whole family to enjoy. I was able to invite family/friends who live in other parts of the island for a bar b cue. They had a pit for barbecuing and they also brought over extra tables and chairs. I will be back!
“Local charm”
Simple, basic accommodation, set right on a beautiful, quiet beach. Great sunsets! Several nearby restaurants, coffee shops, mini mart. Most rooms are equipped with a kitchen, which we found useful. Its back-to-basics style accommodation, at a reasonable price.
“would definitely go back”
Nice family option. A little dated but great location, nice beach, and option to cook was great. Nice relaxing vacation option.
“Right at the beach!”
Simple looking and basic, but has everything you need. Good sized, comfy bed. Clean towels on daily basis plus soap & shampoo. Kitchenette with fridge/freezer, hob, oven, table and a few chairs. Doesn't necessarily have enough pots and pans, etc. (if you're a family). Keep in mind, that the kitchenette (with the fridge etc.) doesn't lock. The actual bedroom area, of course, does. It's a perfect location though, as it's literally right at the beach. The beach isn't broad, but it is long and has a variety of places along it. It's nice for lounging, swimming and some nice sunsets with a few cocktails (very pretty and romantic). It seems to have a variety of people stay there, from small families to glee groups. Great for any age, though don't expect luxurious suites. It's georgeous (with the beach, the palm trees and sun), but nothing special building wise. We didn't have much to do with the staff, only when checking in and out. We lost my phone and they were more than helpful with extending check-out and ensuring access to the property to look for it (found it). No luxury, but perfect for the beach (and to set off towards the other surf beaches - short drive).
“Laid-back casual”
Hotel employees were friendly and helpful. Beach was small but nice. Rooms were clean and functional. Not a lot of excitement but great for quiet and relaxing.
“Down to earth Antonio”
Reasonably priced when booked through on line travel agencies. Free Internet access. Close to grocery stores. Maintenance of facilities need to be improved. Have stayed there for eight years and it seems like the buildings are not being kept up.

Area:
Rincon, Puerto Rico: Rincon is famous for its beaches, which tend to be small, intimate, and varied in character. The first World Championships of surfing was held in Rincon in 1968, and the big waves of the northern beaches still attract surfers the world over. The calm waters of the southern beaches, by contrast, are ideal for snorkeling and diving. During the winter months, humpback whales swim offshore.
