Property Amenities
Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort comprises a hotel section and the Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club. The country club with 27-hole golf course, clubhouse, and its own pool, four restaurants and 3 bars/lounges is 1.75 km (1 mile) away. The resort offers complimentary shuttle service between the two sections. The resort location is accessible to nearby tourist attractions that include the Ponce Museum of Art, the Serralles Castle, the Old Ponce Firehouse Museum, Hacienda Buenavista and the DonQ Rum Distillery.
Open from 8 AM to 4 AM (hours subject to change), the casino includes slot machines, roulette, craps, blackjack, and Caribbean poker. A one-room spa offers facials, hair/nail care, massage, and waxing (surcharges for all services). The fitness center contains cardio machines, resistance equipment, and free weights. Guests enjoy complimentary use of basketball courts, a miniature-golf course, and tennis courts (coins required for night play).
The business center, open weekdays, has computers with complimentary high-speed Internet access. Wireless Internet access (surcharge) is available in the lobby and hotel-section restaurants. Guests can also use complimentary Internet access at an Internet kiosk located in the lobby.
Guests have access to complimentary beach towels, sun loungers, cabanas/palapas. Children up to age 12 receive a beach toy on arrival. On request, the resort provides complimentary supervised children's activities during the day. Self-parking/valet parking (surcharges apply) available.

The Hilton Ponce offers 255 guestrooms in two buildings. Most have ocean views, and some have balconies. Rooms in the 4-story East and West Towers have contemporary furnishings. Rain showers replace shower-tub combinations in the 5-story Executive Tower. Ground floor rooms open directly onto patios, affording garden or pool views. All rooms have complimentary high-speed wired/wireless Internet access, LCD televisions with cable service, ESPN/HBO and free movie channels and there are clock radios and MP3 docking station as well as direct-dial, multi-line speakerphone with voicemail. Rooms include compact refrigerators and coffee/tea makers. Private bathrooms have shower/tub combinations, makeup mirrors, phones, designer toiletries, hair dryer and there is a trouser press. There are daily complimentary newspapers and in-room safes. Daily housekeeping and cribs/infant beds are available. Connecting rooms (one king bed/one double bed in same category) available subject to availability at time of booking (advance booking recommended).

Dining
La Terraza - Open-air restaurant bordered by pond with koi, lily plants, and ducks. Buffet and à la carte breakfast (surcharge). Sunday brunch. Buffet dinner with nightly special main course such as Maine lobster, barbecued pork ribs, steak, prime rib. Also, à la carte dinner menu with choices such as veal chop, cube steak, fish, pasta, vegetarian dishes.
La Cava Restaurant and Wine Bar - Recently renovated, this contemporary restaurant offers an eclectic menu with an ample selection of wines and spirits, located at the ground floor, next to La Terraza. Open Tuesday to Saturday, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
El Bohio Sports & Pool Bar - Casual open-air restaurant and bar adjacent to hotel pool. Seating at covered bar and umbrella tables. Sports TVs. Caged macaw. Open late morning to after midnight. Lunch/dinner menu of sandwiches, burgers, pizza, steak, snacks, milkshakes, beer, tropical drinks.
Sancho s Sushi Bar - Family poolside restaurant with pool and ocean views that serves lunch and dinner and has a bar.
Los Balcones - Open-air lounge in lobby with complimentary pool table, rocking chairs, conversation areas. Open Friday and Saturday evenings. Live music Saturdays.
Players Bar - Lounge and bar with Plasma TVs with sporting events and feature presentations. There is also an entertainment program every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening, with comedy shows, live bands, and dancing.
Mini-Golf Bar - Adjacent to miniature-golf course between beach and pool. Open late morning to late evening.
Sancho's Sushi Bar - Located in golf clubhouse. Open early evening to late night Tuesday–Saturday.
Caribbean Pool Bar - Adjacent to pool in country-club section. Snacks, beer, tropical drinks served late morning to early evening.
Recreation
The hotel section faces 1.5 km (1 mi) of beach along the Caribbean Sea. It includes a 38-m (125-ft) freeform pool and a spa tub surrounded by a sundeck with umbrellas and palm trees. Adjacent to the golf clubhouse is a large freeform pool with palm-tree islands and waterspouts, a children's pool with waterspouts, and a spa tub.
Complimentary facilities in the hotel section include basketball courts, a miniature-golf course, a beach playground, beach and pool volleyball, an outdoor Ping-Pong table, and four tennis courts (coins required for lights). The country-club section includes a full basketball court and a sand volleyball court, both complimentary.
Featuring an island green and full practice facilities, the resort's 27-hole championship golf course offers discounts for guests. Complimentary shuttle service is available between the hotel and the golf clubhouse on request.
The hotel offers kayak rental in the beachfront area out of the Costa Caribe Clubhouse.

“Will definitely be back!”
The room was kept exceptionally clean. The hotel staff was curteous and extremely helpful. There are plenty of amenities to keep the family busy. The grounds are beautiful.
“97% Perfect”
Room is perfect, service is perfect, food is perfect, experience is wonderful. AGAIN, IT IS A VERY GOOD PLACE! What is not perfect. -Beach surface. IT IS OK. Do not expect it to be the better beach of your life. Water is good and clean. -Concierge - OK. Using my laptop, internet and map program I was able to get better place and directions than she suggested. Also Concierge does not work on Sunday. -Internet. Free at the business center, for daily fee - 10 Mb per second in the room (cable, no wireless). *** And the last tip. This is a VERY good and quality hotel. Decent Resort. But do not plan to stay inside or on the beach more then necessary. You will have to travel around to entertain yourself.
“Can't wait to go back”
It was a beautiful hotel with great ocean property, overly accomodating staff, and plenty of amenities. Everyone that we met there as a guest seemed to love their stay. Nearby downtown Ponce is beautiful. We went with another couple and we all agreed, one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in. My husband's only complaint, you had to wait a long time for a drink in the casino. The service in there was slow.
“Terrific, all around resort hotel”
This is a large sprawling hotel centered around its dining and recreational areas. We stayed four nights over President's Day weekend. The hotel was comfortably full but it didn't feel at all crowded. Public areas are attractive and always clean. Ice, pop, and snack machines are available throughout the hotel. Family friendly. Pool area very clean with lots of seating, some in shade. Pool, ping pong, and playground available. Beach small and unremarkable. Security obvious throughout the hotel area. Nice gift and snack shops. Would have liked more shopping within the hotel. Our room was large, wonderful shower, good maid service. Floors are tile-take slippers.

“Great hotel - less than desireable food”
We were glad to find the Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort (everyone there just calls it the "Ponce Hilton" good to know for the cab drivers) for our recent quick weekend trip to Ponce. The service was amazing, the staff was all more than accomidating especially with our 11 month old baby. As a whole, they were very kid friendly. We had warm milk delivered to our room, a Pack and Play set up and even a babysitter found in under two hours (even though they do suggest 24 hour notice for such a service.) The restaurant was more than accomidating with her. The food, however, was less than desirable (accounting for the 3 I have listed for "quality of service"). It was unimaginative and often felt like it was simply frozen or canned food that was warmed up. It was also quite expensive. The exception was La Cava, the restaurant in the resort. There food was quite good. I focus on the food as the resort is a 10 minute, $20 cab ride to town so the hotel is your only option for food. Otherwise, the pool was wonderful, the casino was fun, the room was clean and comfortable, the playground at the beach was fun, the grounds were well kept and the staff was great.

Friendly staff. Excellent food. A very relaxing 5 nights. Staying at the resort, the beautiful golf course is 1/2 the cost of what most island courses charge, and we also enjoyed the pool at the course in addition to the Hilton pool. Been to 5 islands and this is the first resort that my wife said she'd like to return to. Also a great place for families with children.
