this place is convient to the airport, a little funky, very friendly and i would go there again.

“close to stores a quick bus ride to old san juan-the 5 and 53 buses.”

a repair with showers is needed-other than that no major issues-my daughter loved the pool-so did my wife and i-old san juan is heaven..the chinese restaurant in the hotel is out of this world-the best i've had in a while.......

“Great find!”

Coqui Inn was a great find! The price was very reasonable. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel is very simple and relaxing; there are several pools on the grounds, along with arcade games, air hockey, computers in the lobby and a small restaurant that offers room service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will return!

“Excellent Budget Hotel”

Checked in on Christmas Day for a 3 night stay. Only $12.00 taxi fare from the airport for three of us. Check-in was quick and convenient. Our room was located a few buildings away from the front desk and we were transported to our room by golf cart. Room was clean and comfortable...2 full size beds, small kitchen, AC, color TV. There were 2 restaurants on the property and both were excellent. I especially enjoyed the Asian Restaurant, where I had some of the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. Both remain open until 11:00 pm. The service and atmosphere at both restaurants was remarkable. I have traveled extensively throughout Central America and the Caribbean and have had the opportunity to stay at a variety of budget hotels. Coqui Inn tops the list. If you are looking for 5 star accomodations and ammentities this is not the place for you. If you enjoy getting the most for your money and desire to immerse yourself in the local culture then Coqui Inn is a great choice. I reviewed the hotel's Web site prior to my trip and found that all of the information is accurate and no false promises are made to prospective guests. I will gladly stay at Coqui Inn on my next visit to Puerto Rico. Also a great choice for cruise passengers coming or going.

“excellent value for money”

This hotel a very comfortable place, quite and freindly. Near the hotel is an excellent bakery-cafe, where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning. Also, near the hotel, about 5 minutes is fine beach with good sands and water. This hotel a good choice if you nesessary to be near from aeroport. Center of San Juan is not far from the hotel - about 5 minutes by taxi or 15 minutes by bus. In contrast to the center of San Juan, where you can see only tourists, in the area of the hotel felt a real atmosphere of Puerto Rico: people, food and mood

“Budget hotel in a great location”

I had read some good and bad reviews of the Coqui so I didn't really know what to expect. The hotel itself is quaint and 'motel' like but had alot of character and individuality. The murals all over were great. The room our first night was not great though. First thing the second morning, I asked to change rooms and the front desk clerk promptly moved my boyfriend and I to a MUCH better room where I was much more comfortable. It was cleaner, nicer, and recently renovated. The hotel doesn't mince words though, it's definetly a budget hotel. But it's in a great location, walking distance from beautiful Isla Verde beach, a short 75 cent bus ride to San Juan and only 10 minutes from the airport. We saved money on the hotel so were able to rent a car and drive to Farjardo to take snorkeling and bio bay excursions. In my opinion, it was definely worth it to save some money on the hotel so that we were able to spend it elsewhere on the island!

“comfortable hotel/great location”

the room was big and comfortable, stuff was very friendly and the location is great. they need to fix some things though such us the lights, the bathroom...

“Affordable and comfy”

It was great for when your on a budget. The place was nice decorated for a tourist feel..makes you think you're in the country. There are 3 pools and an arcade which was great for the kids. The walk was no too far from the beach and other hotels.
