Lovely Central Hotel in Old San JuanPosted 14-May-2012
Pros: Clean, Modern and well maintained oferring a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning.
Cons: No least favourite things.
Location: Convenient short walking distance to the local shops and 5 minute walk to the cruise ship piers.
We were not sure of what experience we would have as this hotel is in the Old San Juan district but have to say that next time we are in San Juan this is where we will stay. The hotel is very clean with all the modern ammenities you would expect., We have had the opportunity to stay at this hotel on 2 separate occassions and each experience was great. The staff are very friendly and most helpful with answering any questions we had and guiding us through Old San Juan. The hotel is within walking distance to the pier where our cruise ship was docked as well as the local shops and for us the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. The restaurant in the hotel was superb although there are many other restaurants within walking distance for your pleasure and local dining experience.

I really wanted to like this hotel as the staff were really helpful. The location is the real good thing about it. Very convenient for many tourist sites. But it is expensive for what you get. Very simple ands small breakfast. And it would be good if they mended the sink plug and actually dealt with the bad smell from the drains rather than try ot mask the smell with air fresheners. .

Great boutique in great locationPosted 21-Apr-2012 on Hotels.com
Very nice small european modernist-styled boutique hotel near the cruise ship pier. For better or worse, right in the middle of the tourist part of town (restaurants, souvenir shops). Staff was very helpful. Only problem was that we couldn't get our A/C to adjust correctly (it was cold or off).

Old world charm with present conveniencesPosted 3-Jan-2012
Location: In the heart of Old San Juan. Within walking distance to the forts.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff was absolutely fabulous - helpful and courteous. The rooms were beautiful and well kept. Our rooms were small, but offered everything that we needed. They provided as simple but delicious continental breakfast. I would recommend the fourth floor rooms for the balcony views of the city.

Very positive experienc overallPosted 3-Jan-2012 on Hotels.com
The room was quieter than I expected being in the middle of old town San Juan. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The staff in the hotel were exceptionlly friendly and helpful. They kept offering to help us in any way possible and found us a pharmacy that would give us a prescription medication my wife left at home that the major chain drugstore refused to do without considerable paperwork which was difficult to arrange from San Juan. The only limitation in the room was that their wireless internet wasnot strong enough to reach the top floors so we had to go downstairs to log on.
