“Perfect Budget Hotel”
Casa Condado is located in the best neighborhood in San Juan. It's just two blocks from the beach and, and one block local restaurants and walgreens. The hotel is clean, and the front desk is swift and helpful. Don't expect much from breakfast, but with the savings over competing economy hotels in the area you can go have a full breakfast every morning on the beach.
“Excellent Boutique Hotel”
Staff very helpful, they let us check in early after cruise. Room was clean, breakfast was sufficient. Very convenient to beach and restaurants. The lounge is a nice treat in the evenings and mornings.
“Don't wait to go there”
It was my first visit to that hotel. I am very impressed for the service . Last year, I stayed in an other hotel in San Juan. It was not the same service. The elevator and the service was in bad quality. This year, the Casa Condado was near the airport and it was my expectation.
“A great hotel for a frugal traveler!”
Casa Condado was great! The hotel is a gem in San Juan. When we picked Casa Condado, we wanted just a cheap bed to sleep but we go so much more. The room was small but extremely comfortable. It had an AC, TV, and comfortable bed. The room was well maintained. We always had a fresh set of towels. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. They went beyond what I expected for their service. The location was well placed in Condado. The beach is two blocks away. Though they don't have a lot of parking available, we were able to easily park our rental in the neighborhood. There are many good places to eat near the hotel. The hotel itself is attached to a sushi restaurant. The low price is probably due to the size, the view, and the spartan parking at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to any frugal traveler who just wants to see Puerto Rico and needs just a bed.
“Excellent value for the money”
very nice and clean "boutique hotel" in a decent location, about 4 blocks from beach. At the price per night, we were pleasantly surprised. We would stay here again for a night, before a cruise. I would highly recommend it for price/value as I like to find these "diamonds in the rough".
“Casa Condado - All you need!”
This pretty hotel, renovated in the summer and opened around Dec 23/09, is all you need for your stay in San Juan. It's two blocks away from Condado beach... Yes!, that's about 5 minutes or less. About 10 min travel by taxi (will get you to Old San Juan. Perfect location. On the way to the beach, you'll pass Wallgreen's and 2 lively streets filled with shops, restaurants, and bars! Perfect. Bring along your Spanish phrase-book as not everyone speaks English. Inside the Hotel: it is renovated and in my eyes, brand new. There was a hint of varnish in the air, likely related to the amount of beautiful dark wood used in the decor. There is also a second story deck which is nice to relax on with friends. Note: this 3-4 story hotel only has stairs. Inside the room: The black and white room is very clean and maintains much of the hotel decor. There's a ceiling fan, AC, LCD TV, towels, glasses and that's about it. It's sparse, but that's really all you need. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and functional. I was impressed with the shower (no tub) because of its unique stone floor. The only thing I would add is a spot to place your soaps instead of the floor or window ledge. Keep the hotel address (west side of avenue) with you because fewer taxi driver's are familiar with it. Accessed from highway (20 min from airport). Close to Marriott Hotel.
“The Best Hotel In Condado”
I was very pleased with my stay, I was staying originally at another hotel were I had issues with the staff for their lack of respect and professionalism and late into the night I called the Casa Condado Hotel and they accommodated me and let me even check in early at no extra charge, I had an amazing experience, they were very nice, clean and accommodating, I had such a great time, the place is super beautiful, and let me not forget to mention the front desk staff which were very nice and friendly... they made my vacation a dream, the property is beautiful and very clean and at a great price.
“Great Location, Basic and Clean”
The hotel is a great location near shopping, and restauran s. It is across the street from a small local trendy little bar. As we were on a cruise this was great for the Thursday night, however the Saturday night on our return trip the bar was noisy all night.
“Perfect place to stay in condado...!!!”
This hotel is perfect for a single person or a couple. Queen bed, tv, free cable and internet services. Close to restaurant and entertainment areas, including Old San Juan. Nice Sushi bar inside the hotel if you love this kind of food. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, cause only has forth floors. For me wasn't a big issue. Nice price and good breakfast to start your day. Employees are very cool and nice, with an "A" grade service...!!!
