“The Best Hotel in D.R,”
We recently went to this hotel for a 3 day trip...WAY TOO SHORT. We have been all over the carribean, and have never found a more polite and curtious staff. The country was beautiful, the people respectfull, and the view and ammenities were spectacular. The all inclusive plan is the way to go, and the live band and pool bar are great extras. You could stay on premise all day, if you like. I would recomend this hotel to any couple or family for a great, stress-free, getaway.
“Perfect Honeymoon”
We book this hotel for our honeymoon but we never thought it was gonna be so perfect. As soon as we check in,the beautiful view just left us with our mouth open. The staff was really friendly. The food was delicious and the room was perfect. We had a ocean view room and it was just amazing.Every morning me and my husband got to wake up to a beautiful sun and crystal blue ocean. This was incredible.I recommend this hotel to anybody,it's just perfect.
“Great Stay”
I stayed here for a week. I was overall satisfied. But I'm a single person, so I can't speak If you have family with you. Very safe, friendly staff, good food, and drinks. great pool, easy access to beach. It's not a 5 star so don't complain for little things unless willing to pay for it at a 5 star.
“Sosua bay resort review”
Good experience, I would stay here again. The hotel was in a great spot. the beach was a stones throw away and the center of town was a 5min walk.
“Good hotel, good price”
This is a nice hotel, well decorated, with buffet and a la carte restaurants. The food is good, nothing fancy but good variety. There are 2 nice pools in addition to the beach area. Many bars shops, and restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. Ask about the activities and amenities because they don't really do much to advertise them
“hotel was nice”
really, really nice...
“confortable hotel”
the hotel is small, and nice. Food very good. Staff helpful. Tranquil environment. Outside the hotel, within walking distance, lots of activities, such as: bars, restaurants, clubs, park. One, can get the feel of a native Dominican, nice to see.
“We love this place....”
Now, keep in mind, we are not all-inclusive people, but the location and the price are great. The view from the rooms and the pool is amazing, and the staff are super helpful and friendly. The food, as with all AIs, is average at best, but we found breakfast and lunch to be decent, and then we opted to eat out for dinner most nights. The only other complaint is that there are a lot of stairs and there is no direct way to get from one point to another, but after you're there a while, you get used to it. If you want to have immediate access to all Sosua has to offer, I highly recommend SBH. Enjoy!
“Great value and a nice time”
I spent five day with my wife and two kids at the Sosua Bay Hotel. We asked for ajoining rooms with one king and two doubles and got exactly what we asked for. The food was fine as far as the restaurants go the Tex-Mex and the Italian were good the sushi was scary. The buffet was nice with different choises every day. The pools were clean and well kept. The bar tenders were very attentive. We did tip the staff and were treated like kings in return. the beach was also nice with nice snorkling right off the shore. We also enjoyed the shows, The activities were fun but they could have a little more to offer.
“Sales Agent Statement”
Great location, good for relaxing time. One of the sales agent working in the hotel(trying to sell a vacation package), mentioned that although expedia is showing this hotel as a 4 Star in actuall it is below 3 Star. If this is true, I suggest expedia should reflect correc the information.
