“Cant wait to return. I had a wonderful time at the resort”

The service was excellent. Someone was always there to meet your needs. The staff made you feel so welcome, very friendly and courteous. The food was excellent xxxxxxx. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends and family. See you soon ;-))

“not bad”

I traveled from 5/7-5/13/12. There were only a few issues that we encountered: 1. I purchased the Crown Resident Suites, but received the Cofresi Hotel room. I asked the front office and I was told to ask the VIP people. Since I was busy thoughout the day, I never took the time to ask why my room was switched. I guess that's on me. 2. From Monday to Friday morning, the hotel was great. Once Friday afternoon came around, I believe all the locals decided to stop by. It was extremelly loud and crowded. In addition, there was a concert on Saturday night. The music and fireworks didn't stop until 2am. Maybe I can attribute the amount of people to the concert, I don't know. So if you are looking for peace and quiet on the weekend, you may not want to go to this hotel. 3. I was not too impressed with the beach. I have to say that Punta Cana was better in that sense. The positives: 1. Grounds were kept clean at all time. 2. Food on the Buffet, Indian (amaizing cake!#, and Thai/Chinese. Skip the Italian one #food was horrible). 3. The servers were great and very friendly. Overall a pretty ok stay.

“Beautiful but needs a little FACE LIFT!!!!”

There were several things that I was a little bet disappointing: 1. We report that there was a bad smell and someone came and sprayed with an arosel and the smell was still, nothing done after that 2. We report the phone wasn't working 4x's and no did anything about it 3. And lastly we had to take showers with cold water, that hot water will run in the morning but in the evening it was very luke warm. 4. I was a little disappointed that the cafetria area in the pearl was poorly kept clean. For example the dessert area and salad area wasn't kept clean. There was a bad smell around the ice cream and dessert area no one swept, map or cleaned the counter taps

“If your not a VIP memeber forget about it!”

Day 1: Upon our early arrival 11:30 a.m. we asked if our room would be ready and we were told “no but we could leave out luggage in the lobby and enjoy the amenities that were offered to us”. We returned about 2pm and still the room was not ready for a 3pm check in?? And was not ready until 3pm sharp. I found that very odd. The front desk person was of no help and very nasty also. I told him that on Expedia’s website under my reservations (Crown Res.) our check out time is 1pm. He told me “no, that it is 11:30a.m”. The websitre say 1pm and it does say 1pm. finally got into the room we noticed no wash clothes and I had to call the front desk to have them sent to the room. the maid entered without knocking Day2: the maids donot clean the room properly. We had many flying insects in our room from the night before that died in the bathroom, by the front door and by the balcony doors. Upon our return in the late afternoon dead bugs were still there. TV did not work properly, Static on all channels. Day 3: Shower head falls out of the wall in the a.m. while showering. Day 4: TV goes out again in the a.m. and when we return from our day excursion the TV would not even turn on. During this time it was rainy and I was told by the front desk or a TV technician that they will send someone as soon as it stops raining.I called back and told them to send someone ASAP. Day5: No maid service until after 3pm. Day 6: the maid comes at 10am…wow! 1 knock and then she enters herself.

“Should not be called all inclusive”

The resort is very big Crown Suites, Crown Villas, Presidential Suites... each one has a reception but there is a shuttle you can take between them. There was just too much hasstle with this resort, it says All inclusive but its not. Safe is extra, internet is extra , some food at restaurants is extra. This resort has a VIP section reserved for members only and they get the best service. The rest of us cant get into the good areas (restaurants, beaches, entertainment...etc) They have people walking around constantly asking to give you VIP tours, which are really time share presentations to get you to buy stuff. Food was ok there is veriety for everyone, pasta was the best. You have to make reservations for the restaurants sometimes days ahead or they run out but buffet is open all the time. They also run out of towels early in the day. Daily entertainment wasnt great, they have pool dances, and amphitheatre shows but they are not that great. Night club opens at 11PM and it was always empty. So if you are not VIP you might get bored at night. Its not a bad resort its just hard to relax when you have to worry about all this stuff. To me thats not what all inclusive should be like.

“Would not recommend to other”

The beach has lots of rocks and dirty. Cannot swim. We stayed in a suite and did not feel safe walk around at night and we need to take shuttle bus to everywhere we go on the resort.

“Could be so much better than it is...”

This place looks beautiful online and in person. The facilities are clean and the location is gorgeous. We chose it for our honeymoon. We went mid June and it was surprisingly not overcrowded at all. Mostly time-share owners and families with older children. The spa was very relaxing, we had a couples massage that was wonderful. We chose to take the zipline and monkey jungle excursion one morning and that was also a blast. That's where the good stuff ended. At first we just thought that there were a few quirks. But as the week went on we were told we couldn't order certain drinks, certain areas were for "real vip" vip customers. We were told by our Expedia rep that we weren't allowed to take a beach horseback excursion offered by the hotel, because we "belonged" to him. The housekeeping and exterminators simply let themselves in our room several times without knocking even after we complained. (eventually I started wedging a chair under the door handle) The concierge tried to deny us dinner reservations the very first day we arrived claiming that "everything was booked" and we'd have to eat at the buffet three nights in a row. Service was hit or miss and the food was edible most nights but not what you'd expect from a resort (especially the undercooked fish we were served). There aren't any restaurants unaffiliated with the resort. There seems to be a big push to get you to "upgrade" once you get there and the gold bracelet VIPs have a completely different experience.

“It was Okay!!”

The Resort was amazing with the views, pools, and etc..... But If u are bringing same children like i did they dont have bathtubs to bathe them... I asked for a suite which i got but from the photos on the website they described that they had shower/bathtub... and they didn't!!!! The other thing that i didnt like was everyday during breakfast, lunch & dinner they had basically the same thing eachday... Unless you ate at one of many restaurants... But with the restaurants you need to make resveration one day in advance which i think was not right.... it should be first come first serve... Overall the resort itself was amazing but the food should be changed with different option NOT the same everyday...

“not impressed”

Overall not bad, however it was a horrible start. Check in was a nightmare, waited 3 1/2 hours to get a room, granted we were there at 12 while check in was at 3. But the front desk couldn't care less that we were waiting, and did nothing to speed up the process. It didn't help that we saw people coming in 3 hours afteri us getting a room right away. I asked for the 4th time at 330 whether our room was ready and the girl jus said she's waiting for a phone call, 1 minute later another man asked me if I was being helped... and I repeated my annoyance in which he went right in the room and brought a key. The girl obviously didn't check... All the bell boys where great, bartenders great, food pretty good... front desk ... boo! Our room wasn't stocked w the complimentary drinks...(they did fix that..) but we at least had our own pool area. Watch out for time share people ... get the free gift and get it over with, the experience was better once that was done. Do the excursions, there's not much at the resort to keep u entertained for an extended amt of time. We did paradise island and horseback riding. Both excellent.
