“Great stay”
Room and restaurant were great. Would stay again even without the casino. Although that was part of the fun, though not profitable.. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Will recommend to anyone. As far as the hotel goes, A+++

The Hotel provides free Coach Bus ride to the Mall Of America which helped to provide a stress free outing. 24 hour visible security at Hotel really provides peace of mind and comfort.

“Very nice hotel; casino much improved”
My wife and I spent a Friday and Saturday night at Mystic Lake in one of the rooms in their newer tower. Very nice room - flat panel TV, beds, chairs and desk and a lounging chair with ottoman. The bathroom was large; amenities included a coffeemaker with coffee and tea, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The casino has been improved dramatically since the last time we were there (over a year ago) and was much more open and considerably less smoky than in the past. It was jam packed on Friday night; a bit less so on Saturday night, but not overcrowded during the day on Saturday. Ate at their coffee shop, which was very good except for the Monte Christo sandwich I ordered at dinner, which was terrible. But the breakfasts were great. We also ate at the Asian restaurant in their version of a food court, which was great.
“Nice hotel, confusing casino”
We have stayed at Mystic Lake several times and enjoyed it each time. The rooms, even the bargain rooms, are very nice, double queen beds, large bathrooms with massaging shower heads. However, the casino is laid out in big, entertwining circles and it's easy to get lost there. The buffet is huge and very tasty and Ribbons, the upscale restaurant, is wonderful.

WE were on the top level and the view with all the lights was awesome.

We have traveled and stayed in many Hotels and resorts from West Germany to Guam...the Mystic Lake Hotel and Resort is without a doubt our favorite. The rates are more than reasonable, everyone of the staff made us feel special. This particular stay required us to drive more than two hundred miles out of our way. As non-smokers we realy appreciate the non smoker section, we only wish that more of the Casino had that designation.
“Can't wait to go back,,,”
Mystic Lake Casing was overall one of the nicest hotels/casinos I have ever been to. It was spotless, even though cigarette smoking is allowed, you weren't choking on the air quality due to the great ventilation. The staff were wonderfully accomidating, pleasant, and helpful. If I needed to find an area, staff would not only direct me, they would also accomany me to the door, so to speak. The food was 5-star and it didn't matter where you ate, (There are half a dozen restaurants, I tried them all). Lost a bundle, but gained 20 pounds and slept like a baby.
“Mystic”
Nice place; staff friendly but if you want the "deals" do homework before time. Didn't take a look at the Spa but nice to know it was there. Pool was a bit smallish Check out the expiration date for their Casino Club as it is renewed annually so any points I earned are only good for a month.
