“Great place to escape.”
I really liked the privacy and location of our room, however being in "a Tower Room" above the bar/kitchen we could smell fish in the hallway. The room didn't smell just the hall. The hotel staff was awesome, the waitress in the Coaches Lounge in the morning was not pleasant at all.
“Too short”
I was only in Prince George one night because I was talking the train from Prince Rupert to Jasper. The train was late so I wasn't at the hotel very long. It was a really nice hotel and I wish I could have enjoyed it longer.
“Wow - This is an incredible hotel!”
I was not relishing the visit to this hotel, having stayed there during my last trip to Prince George in 1999. I was more than pleasnatly surprised. The hotel has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and is a credit to the Ramada chain. I work for a luxury hotel chain and had VERY low expectations. The rooms were bright and modern, well equipped with large flat screen tvs and the hotel has an absolutely terrific gym considering teh size of teh property. I ordered room service, which was priced very well and service was very quick and polite and food quality (pub style) was superior. The new addition of a Starbucks in the Lobby was a cherry on top as well. The only complaint I had, was that the printer in the business centre left streaks on my print job, but front desk was happy to print my document quickly and free of charge. I simply cannot say enough positive things about my experience at this hotel.
“Pleasant stay in Prince George - Ramada Inn”
I made a lst minute reservation via Expedia. After spending 3 nights of the 4 night reservation, I had tpo cut the last day off my trip. The manager at the Ramada was great. She worked with Expedia and gave me credit for the 4th night. I really appreciated her help.
“Good Hotel in central location.”
The Hotel was undergoing renovations when we stayed there but staff did a good job of ensuring construction noise was minimal for the guests.
“Within walking distance from the Via Rail station.”
The reception was friendly. There was some construction happening but it did not impact our stay.

the hotel is still going through maintenance therefore this needs to be completed before a fair review can be given as everything was average!
“"Not Impressed!"”
We checked in through our Expedia booking to find that we were put up in the old tower, our room had black mold around the tub, and the room smelled of mold. I phoned the front desk and they were nice enough to let us upgrade to a very nice suite in the newer tower. It was night and day difference, the hotel itself has no place for you to park and unload your luggage as taxi stands are in front of the lobby doors and they will not move and let you in. The neighborhood is a Drug block with Ladies of the evening and drug dealers literally on all corners.
“good clean hotel-doing renos to upgrade hotel”
This hotel is clean and does the trick when you want a good clean and reasonably priced overnight stay. They are in the renovation process to upgrade the hotel and it should be very nice when finished. Their exercise room is very nicely redone!

people hanging around on the streets that gave me the willies,,,,,,glad my husband was with me
