“was great”
was a nice get away from normal every day things a home away from home

convenient location for our overnight stay between train trips. sadly, internet inaccessible
“Great Hotel but”
The "but" was a native guy coming in the restaurant, pretending his family was coming shortly, taking a seat at a booth and then getting up and bumming money off every patron in the place. This is no fault of the hotel or it's staff but we need a means of identifying moochers so that every other hotel would know. Maybe an identification card swipe would fix that. I wouldn't complain if I had my card ID checked
“Clean and basic”
Hotel staff were wonderful and extremely helpful even recomending a golf course and booking a round of golf for my teenage son. Nothing was too much trouble for them
“50/50”
We stayed two nights. The first night was excellent. The room was clean, affordable, central location etc. We decided to stay another night and we were put in a different wing (older ?) and the room was unbearably hot. It was October, the air conditioning was off for the winter, the heat was turned right down, the window open, screen off and we melted. The front desk brought up a fan but it was still very warm. They did offer a free breakfast but, though the restaurant in the hotel is good, it wouldn't have been worth it even if we had time for breakfast. The good wing was toward the North and the poor wing was to the East.
“Okay, but not first choice”
The service was really good, but the overall condition of the hotel wasn't the best. They tried to keep it maintained and clean, but there's only so much you can do with an older hotel, in a not-so-nice area of town.
“Good Value”
This is a clean hotel with good service and free internet. This hotel is downtown and while the area does not look good, I had no issues with leaving my car parked outside for two days. While the area is mostly hotels, it is very close to fast-food and restaurants.
“A fairly typical Days Inn”
If you've ever stayed in a Days Inn you'll know exactly what you'll get. The property was tired, showing plenty of signs of a hard life. The bedroom was fairly small but the beds were clean and comfortable. Our bathroom appeared to have been recently decorated and had an excellent shower. Breakfast was extra, we decided to not to try it and moved on. The hotel has an arrangement with the lot around the back that allows guests to park. Free wifi worked well. Overall a perfectly acceptable hotel for our one night stand.
