“Excellent impression, very good and funny dinner theater, comfortable building and room.”
Very nice historical building, very good preserved, with Victorian atmosphere in the room and lobby. Situated right in the centre of the city and yet quiet and cosy. especially good for kindred spirits of Anne Shirley who would like to stay in town.

Great location, freindly service. Room is good size and clean. Comfortable beds and great indoor swiming pool. Overall great hotel to stay in in PEI. Close to everything.

“Classic Charm In The Heart Of Downtown Charlottetown”
I had a meeting in Charlottetown and brought my spouse for the overnight trip. First of all, The Rodd isn't a new hotel. It was built in the day when railroads built classy hotels at rail destinations. Unfortunately, not all of these hotels managed to age gracefully but The Rodd is not one. It may have been updated along the way but this hotel has kept the old world charm. Tall ceilings, grand dining room and comfortable room is what you get here. Walking distance to the shops , restaurants and places of historic interest, although being out of season, PEI is partially closed to get ready for the influx of summer tourists and the other half is under construction. Hotel dining room did an excellent job of serving local seafood with great service as did a local pub close by. The only possible downside was that we were right next to the main firehouse, with our windows open, but fortunately there was no activity in the wee hours of the morning. Overall, a great place to stay if you want to explore Charlottetown.

“Cozy Historic Hotel in Downtown Charlottetown”
We stayed 2 days at this hotel. Great customer service who helped us with locations and sites. Its right in the middle of the city...just a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk. Free parking. Restaurant serves great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms are a little out of date but all ammenities are included. Comfortable beds and complimentary wired and wireless internet. Would definately stay here again.

Ours was only a one night stay, but would return again because of convenience, service, and overall feel of an older well kept hotel. Parking space minimal but not a problem.
“A Charlottetown Gem”
This classic old world CN railroad hotel had cozy old world charm with many modern amenities. Its central location in Charlottetown allows great walking access to all the sites we chose to visit in two days. Room, while not spacious, was very comfortable and perfect for the rate paid. We enjoyed breakfast in the hotel both days. Service and quality were outstanding. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very well appointed rooms, old hotel so rooms are small. Good location, although next to a fire station, the trucks never go out, very quiet. Parking on property, large indoor pool. A few blocks from restaurants and pubs, must eat breakfast at Leohards, awesome coffee, great service, very welcoming, it is a few blocks from hotel.
