“Charlottown Best Harbor Hotel”
Loved it. Great location and great service people. The parking charge was a surprise.
“A real gem in Charlottetown”
As this was our first visit to Charlottetown we took a gamble on which hotel we were going to pick and let me tell you that it really paid off. This Delta was outstanding in both customer service and location. You really can't beat being on the waterfront in the heart of the historical district, so many pubs, restaurants and tourist attractions within a 5 min walk in any direction. We had the unfortunate luck of being there during the ball hockey tournament which caused major headaches for hotels in town (all over the newspaper the next day) and we happened to be located on the same floor as some of the players making noise all night. We talked to Maureen at the front desk (she really deserves an award for customer service) who without a second thought upgraded us to another floor which was very quiet and comfortable. Only comment for any of the rooms is how loud the doors are when they slam shut. The Selkirk restaurant is quite nice and the room service was excellent ( the fish and chips portion was amazing! ). A few hiccups with one of the staff in the Selkirk with bad service but all the others treated us very nicely. You owe it to yourself to try the healthy breakfast with fruit and granola/honey, awesome start to any day! The rooms definitely need upgrading, when staying there for a full week the basic cable channels do get boring quickly and old CRT tvs need upgrading but all around I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Charlottetown.
“Worth 4 Stars”
I had one of the least expensive rooms but it was newly redecorated and was beautifull. You had to pay for parking but due to the ideal location it was worth the convenience. 4 stars is a proper rating.
“Excellent Hotel”
Great service and great food!!! Look forward to staying there again.
“Downtown near the water”
Close to harbour shops and restaurants. Underground parking is nice. Large quiet rooms. Walking distance to parks, shopping, restaurants. Old but nice.
“Will be back next year for sure.”
It's the little things that can separate the good hotels from the great hotels. The check in is quick with offers to assist with great restaurants that are nearby as well as the nightlife or cultural events that are taking place. Then the valet bringing up the car with ice cold bottle of water set in the car for the day.
“Can't wait to go back, and I will”
First night/check in very friendly and helpful, the room was a little better then I thought it would be, just wish that when looking out my window I would have looked out to the water. Everyone there, was so friendly not just the staff but room guest's as well.
“great location”
excellent location for a walking tour of the downtown part of the city great room ,very clean and comfortable staff were very friendly
“Great Honeymoon Experience”
Originally I had booked the cheapest rate with 2 double beds, because the King size bed rates were over our budget, we figured we'll just push the beds together. When we arrived we were upgraded to a King size bed. After coming back from dinner we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of champagne in a bucket of ice and some chocolates awaiting our return. We only stayed one night but it was a memorable one. My wife and I will remember this experience for years to come. Thanks !
“Amazing service”
This modern business hotel reflects very well the great hospitality of Prince Edward Island.
