This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve entered in my life. Big yellow stain on bed, bathtub was filthy, as I washed it for my toddler to get in, cobwebs, hair, thick dust, greasy foot prints and dirt throughout the entire room. Beds were visibly dirty, sand/dirt under pillows. Food crumbs in fridge and on stove. Asked the owners son for a different room but hotel was sold out so he called his mom, Dawn and she said offer a refund. For ease for my toddlers, I requested new sheets to change the bed myself so they could be put to bed but when I began stripping the bed, noticed how dirty the floor was and the dust/webs too. So I went back and said I’d take the refund. I was then told they couldn’t do my refund until the next morning when they checked the room so I watched my credit card account. No refund so I emailed and she (Dawn) responded (refunding the 3rd day) that we were charged for 1 night because we used the room and they had to make the beds. It was me trying to change the bed FOR them with their sheets and they said that we used the room for 2 hours (less than an hour for arrival to departure actually), which was inaccurate. Had to stop in-person to request my refund and they refused until I said I would contact the local health inspection agency to view the hotel. I did not like to do that but was stuck and accused me of using the filthy room. I took tons of pictures, my child’s feet were black on bottom walking from the bathroom to the bed. Filthy dirty hotel.
