“Two nights in Saskatoon”
A somewhat dated hotel, but with excellent service and clean, quiet rooms. On a main street with plenty of stores and restaurants in the immediate area.
“Exceeded Expectations.”
During our stay a number of areas were under constructions. However, this really did not effect our stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would not hesitate in staying at this hotel again.
“Great Staff”
The hotel itself seems a little run down but you get what you pay for and in this place you get a lot for your buck. There is a great little Bar/Restuarant off the lobby that has good hamburgers and of course beer. There is a more expensive steakhouse off the lobby as well. The room was comfortable and had high speed internet, wireless in my case, not good for secure transmission. They do however have broadband in some rooms.
“Not a Family Hotel”
This hotel has great guest services, however the bar downstairs is disruptive and loud. I would not suggest this hotel if you are bringing your family. Two of the three doors locks on my door were broken.
“Average”
- Doors slamming - Ventilation noises - Poor room temperature control - Overall carpet and wall paper/paint in poor to fair conditions - Most rooms are wireless ethernet. You need to mention if you need hardwire connection. - Continental breakfast is OK
“ramada”
resturant too expensive for family dining
“Noisy, didn't sleep, dangerous outside... broken glass in parking lot”
We were woken up at 2am because people were yelling down the hallway asking where their room was. We also had to take our dog to the emergency room our first night there because he stepped on broken glass that was all over the parking lot and we couldn't stop the bleeding from his front paw. Cost us and additional $140 and the hotel did nothing about it. Very disappointed in the whole stay. Would not recommend to stay there if you have children or pets that could easily get hurt outside with all the glass because the hotel takes no responsibility for their parking lot.
