“Well "used" hotel.”
Typical Casino hotel. A lot less traffic than Vegas. It was OK. Room was adequate, clean and large.
“Reasonable rates”
Reasonable rates, however hotel in need of maintenance and repairs.
“acceptable”
Good Hotel
“Stood”
Stood in line for over 30here minutes to check in
“Terrible”
Smelled terrible and the elevator smelled like someone got super high in it. The whole hotel stunk really bad. We turned on the TV with our children in the room....that was a BIG mistake. Full on free Porn on the first three channels, my kids are scared for life. The only place to eat is McDonalds.....no buffet. Overall experience was awful. They were however quick to bring extra towels :D
“Hotel needs a good cleaning”
I found a piece of glass on my bedspread. Then when I pulled the bedspread down, there was a empty corona bottle under my bed - I hit it with my foot. I looked around - there was broken glass all along the wooden box that the mattress sits on under the bed. My friend and I checked his bed - there was also broken glass all along the wooded box under both beds. The hotel room was dusty - dirty. Seemed like it hadn't had a good cleaning in a very very long time. The bathroom floor - there was some white stuff on the floor - maybe toothpaste. It was very noticiable. I took a tissue and wiped it off. The sink area/shower - need a good scrubbing. This trip was very last minute. The location of the hotel was convenient. We just needed a place to sleep/shower/change. But it was gross experiance.
“Whiskey Pete's .... NO BUENO!”
We went for a concert and this was the only one of the three hotels that wasn't sold out. When we got there, we understood why. We were upgraded to a "deluxe" room, which amounted to a dirty sofa, over-sized dresser/entertainment center and jacuzzi tub. We had to call for extra towels, which never came. We went into the unlocked maids room and grabbed them. I had to grad a maintenance man who was on the floor to unclog our toilet. Many of the lights in the room and bathroom didn't work. We all has the itchies from the hard water, towels and harsh soap. The food choices were VERY limited. It was either McDonald's or a cheezy outdated lounge with great flat screens. One positive, the breakfast was better than we thought. The lesson is to BOOK at Primm or Buffalo Bill (in that order) BEFORE you buy concert tickets or book a room a Nevada Landing or one of the the hotels at the beginning of the strip! However, if you don't have a choice and have to stay at Whiskey...bring your own soap, make-up mirrors with lights, towels, and food.
“Needs work!”
This hotel needs to be fixed. The room phone was broken so was ice machine. Towel holder fell off wall when I tried to get a towel. The cleaning staff was cleaning around midnight so I was awakened by the vacuum. The smoke alarm was busted off the wall.
“Beat expectations”
After reading some of the reviews posted previously we were braced for the worst - "so dirty the poker chips stick together" "terrible service" and the like. So it was a pleasant surprise to encounter friendly people doing the best they can with a property that has been allowed to run down as it passed though a series of owners. The carpet is worn, everything looks a bit old, but the resort itself (which includes all the properties at Primm - Primm Valley Resort, Whiskey Petes and Buffalo Bills) make for a fun, more than adequate destination. The price is so much better than comperable places in Vegas it's almost worth while to stay here and make a day trip to Vegas.
“Next time”
Good enough for me, served the purpose.
