Nice and quiet with restaurant out in the country i visit here every year with family i stay at National 9 Inn every year and they improve their service every year

Pool “ closed for Maintanance”. That was the reason we chose this spot. Toothpaste stains on the bathroom faucet. Old food / milk left in fridge. Garbage on the sidewalk outside Room heater unit sounded like a freight train Just ick.

For the price the stay is about what I would expect. Pool was shut down for maintenance, shower was for someone 5'5" or shorter, fridge was noisy, but our room had two clean beds, a working fridge, TV and microwave. One thing to note is that you walk outside to get ice or snacks, etc. and lighting is poor. You may want to bring a flashlight and keep your kids close.

Nice room only complaint is when you turned on the fan it started to smell like sewage. Nice staff very clean room and great bed.. loved that it had a microwave and refrigerator

When booking online, the National 9 says the "system" randomly assigns rooms instead of the one you reserved online. I booked our king bed room in March of 2023. We arrived for an 11 day stay to be told our king bed room reservation didn't exist and instead we were given a queen as they were full and had no where to move us to a king bed. This happened to my brother in law a few weeks prior as well. Queen beds do not fit my 6ft husband hence the king reservation. After three days, they did move us to a king on our request with availability. The staff was mostly friendly and in the end did what they could to accommodate us. Our first room was quite dirty including a very grubby door where many hands have left dirt and goo. Outlets didn't work in the first room, heating lamp/fan didn't work, smelled like burning, mold on the walls in the bathroom and rusty water leaking out of the bathtub surround. The beds were quite old as well and my husband kept rolling to the middle. We stay here specifically because it is in walking distance to the family we visit. If it weren't for that, we would likely choose something in Price. I know they are trying to have a decent place for people to stay. They absolutely need to figure out why rooms get randomly assigned when booked online considering most lodging is an online one in 2023. The cleaning staff also needs to deep clean on a regular basis and make sure everything works.

The room was the only smoking room and smelled like a dirty casino. It was on my clothes in my bag when I checked into a different hotel the next day. Plus, the room was dirty. There was a dirty sock along the side of the bed covered in duct bunnies. The chairs were also dusty and the toilet was moving when sat on. I get it is a small town and a good value and I stay in small places like this a lot but this was not acceptable. A little more attention to detail and some small repairs would help a lot. Clean the place. Front desk assistant was fantastic!!!

Stay was great the housekeepers were so good we needed extra towels and they were cleaning another room and went and grabbed them right away. Unfortunately we didn’t get to swim because they were doing maintenance or something on the pool. I wish I would’ve known that ahead of time but overall wasn’t a bad place. Rooms are a tad but smaller than an average hotel. Id stay again

Budget motel in broke down conditions. Room door wouldn't seal, letting in outside light, air, and noise. Mattresses were sagging and hard. Shower head at chin level. Sink water was piped backwards, cold on left, hot on right. Tiny old TV, had to squint to see. Room furnishings are 40+ years old. Limited electric outlets behind furniture. Pool was closed for "maintenance". Parking for front rooms is shared with restaurant. Creepy broke down camper van out front. Staff were unhelpful. Front desk was doing the laundry. Late checkout request ignored. Yikes. If you have other options, take them. Like sleeping in your car.

The National 9 is a well-worn 1960s-vintage motel with an attached restaurant. But don't let that deter you from booking if it's on your way. The rooms are clean and well-kept, check-in was quick and painless, and you park right in front of your door.
