The Historical building (14th century) offers accommodation in 34 rooms and suite comfortably equipped with antique furniture, bathroom (shower or bath, WC), complimentary toiletries, flat TV/SAT, direct dial phone, hair dryer, in-room safe deposit free of charge, minibar, WIFI connection and tea & coffee making facilities free of charge. Some rooms have original wooden renaissance ceilings. Rooms feature city or courtyard views. Irons/ironing boards, and wake-up calls can be requested. Cribs (infant beds) are also available.
Deluxe room is a luxorious and spacious suite. Client get a complimentary bottle of wine and free soft drinks from minibar on the first day.

“Wonderful & quaint hotel!”
This was a wonderful hotel in the perfect location for visiting Prague. It was very close to everything -- and its parking lot touches the Czech senate! The hotel is a bit quaint compared to bright and luxurious American hotels, but that just serves to add to the experience. In addition to the nice rooms, the hotel had the biggest continental breakfast I've ever seen. I never want to stay anywhere else in Prague and I can definitely highly recommend this hotel. I will return!
“Great Hotel in Mala Strana”
I stayed at the Waldstein Hotel for three nights, and it was absolutely wonderful. I'm a solo traveler lacking in czech language skills, but the staff was wonderful and very helpful. Theres a beautiful garden and palace on the backside of the hotel, so that was a wonderful find. Mala Strana itself is a beautiful area, and everything in Prague is close and very reachable by foot, but the metros are close by as well. I've stayed in four and five star hotels throughout europe over the past 3 weeks (Paris, Budapest, Barcelona, Interlaken) and this little hotel was by far my favorite. What it lacked in interior design, it made up for with character. I highly reccommend this hotel.
“Great location, with character”
We selected this hotel because our visit valued location in a historic neighborhood, proximity to ancient treasures, immediate access to public transportation, and being 'in character' with historic Prague. The hotel room was not comfortable, but we didn't spend much time there. We didn't travel this far to stay in our room. The continental breakfast was excellent.
“Very impressed”
This is a great hotel for being at the centre of all the great places to see in Prague. Although an old building, it's beautiful. We stayed for 3 nights and the room was great - the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The breakfast is fantastic and hotel staff are really helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.
“our type of hotel.”
We were really pleased that we chose the Waldstein. It was in a great location, on the quieter side of the river but within walking distance of the main sights. It is a listed building with lots of character and charm. Service was excellent, room comfortable and clean. It was nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room since this is rare in many european hotels. We'd definitely stay there again.
“A good find”
An excellent hotel - very clean and well presented, with helpful English-speaking staff. Easily reached from the airport too - just a few hundred metres from metro station.
“Superbly placed”
Oldy world, historic, comfortable with tons of character. No mod cons or thrills. KLM lost our baggage and the hotel staff were able to reassure us using their experience and as they said, our bag turned up early next morning at the hotel. Superbly situated to explore Prague with some excellent restaurants close by. Breakfast choice was good considering it was typically continental. Organise all your sight seeing trips, taxis etc through the hotel, they get you discounts and are eager to please.

“Excellent - Full of Character”
We went to the hotel as a party of four young ladies to celebrate a 60th birthday. Booked two rooms with single beds, one of these rooms turned out to be a suite which could of housed all four of us. Hotel has bags of character with some beautiful painted ceilings. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable although the lighting in some areas was a little dim. Great choice of breakfast which was served in the cellar which again was full of character, featuring a well. Staff were very friendly and helpful and attended to issues raised straight away. Would highly recommend this hotel.
