“Highly recommended”
This hotel we absolutely could recommend - Really good value for money. Ideal location, 10 min walk to Charles Bridge or use frequent tram 2min. Friendly & helpful members of staff at all times 24/7. A beautiful, modern furnished, clean room, which was cleaned every day & towels, when left on the floor, have been replaced with fresh ones. Wireless internet connection in your room free of charge. Breakfast - great choice of hot & cold food. We loved our 5-nights stay & would stay at this hotel again with pleasure.
“Dont worry about location, it is fine, everthing in prague within 30 mins walk”
Great hotel. I would recommend it.
“Great value for the price”
Nice hotel in a quiet section of town and only about a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram stop.
“This will be my hotel on my next trip to Prague”
I've spent two nights at this hotel and I'm sure the next time I'll go to Prague I'll stay at Red and Blue Design hotel. The hotel rooms are very convenient, both for their budget room rates and for the location (only 10/15 minutes walking to Charles Bridge). The rooms are welcoming and nicely-decorated. I stayed in a red room, there's plenty of space, a big LCD screen room and the bathroom is more than what I expected. There's a large bathtub and high-quality amenities. Also, the breakfast, which was included in my room rate, was better than other hotel breakfast I've paid for.
“Top Notch”
Our stay at Red and Blue Design Hotel in Prague was faultless. The room, though smallish, was very well appointed. We had a room overlooking the park, and though there was traffic noise, the view more than compensated for that. No sound at all if the window is closed, of course, and the air conditioning is very effective and quiet. The bathroom was the 'state ot the the art' and the shower, fabulous! We were spoilt for choice at breakfast. There was everything you could wish for - Continental breakfast, cooked breakfast, fruits, cereals, breads, pastries and all beautifully fresh. The breakfast room itself allows you the choice of eating indoors, in the conservatory or outside on the patio. All very tastful. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is about fifteen minutes from Charles Bridge on the west side of the river, overlooking Petrin Park. It's an easy walk to the centre and to the Lesser Town, and it's really worth walking through Petrin Park to the top. It's such a beautiful park and so well maintained. Top Notch!!
“Great overall...”
We got a room at the top floor, maybe because it just finished its renovation, so the room is quite dusty and has the paint smell. Generally, the room including the bathroom is clean and nicely kept. The breakfast buffet every morning is good and the menu changes a bit everyday. The location is also not bad, walking distance to major attractions (10-20min). Overall, it was a nice stay.
“Very Good in Every Respect”
My wife and I stayed at the Red and Blue Design Hotel for one week in August 2011. Our room was a standard double on the top floor. It was modern, quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The air conditioning and WiFi both worked well. The en-suite bathroom consisted of separate toilet and shower cubicles and a wash basin within the room. Both cubicles were large. It would be more accurate to describe the shower as a wet room. The door to the toilet is smoked glass, but the shower door is clear. This is not a problem for my wife and I, but I could see that it might be for those who want more privacy! Such persons might need to upgrade to a more expensive room. The high standard of cleanliness was evidient throughout the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was especially good. A varied selection constantly replenished by attentive staff. The receptionists were also very helpful and pleasant. I was a little alarmed by the surrounding neighbourhood to begin with, due to the large amount of graffiti. However, I soon realized that this is normal for everywhere in Prague! You fail to notice it after a few days! Overall we were very pleased with our choice of hotel and would recommend it to others.
“Can't wait to go back.”
Lovely hotel my sort off style, would recommend to all ages for what ever the reason off your visit.
“Hotel Red and blue Prague tout confort”

Smichov, Prague, Czech Republic: Tourists come to this outlying westerly suburb to visit the Mozart Museum in the Villa Bertramka, where Mozart stayed as a guest of the Czech composer Dusek in 1787. Not long afterwards, Smichovs vineyards and hopfields were replaced by factory chimneys. Today, many of these old industrial buildings have been converted into bars, shops and hotels for a fresh influx of residential settlers.
