a 3 nights stayPosted 13-Oct-2014
Pros: Excellent location.
Cons: A basic toothbrush/toothpaste provided will help for travellers.
Location: The hotel is a walking distance from the old town square where there are plenty of restaurants and activities to enjoy.
My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and were hugely pleased to discover that the hotel was only a short walking distance from the old city square. Given the excellent location, walking and enjoying Prague's old city was very easy and convenient. Hotel staff at the reception were very helpful to guide us through in picking the appropriate tour programme. A very pleasant experience.

Pros: Excellent rooms and staff. Arrived in Prague at 8AM and we able to get in the room. Very rare for a hotel to be able to do that.
Cons: free wifi only available in the lobby. Should be free in the rooms like most hotels in Europe
Location: 5 minute walk to old town square. Very nice.
Nice hotel very close to the main square. Prague is a great city to visit

Nice hotel, nice locationPosted 14-Sep-2014
Cons: Many of the staff seemed to have to force being friendly but I think that's a cultural thing not specific to hotel.
Enjoyed our stay..convenient location. Rooms are large and comfortable however would have liked to have been able to open windows more..breakfast buffet very nice, Lida our server was exceptionally sweet.

Standard Marriott in convenient locationPosted 6-Sep-2014
More than met our expectations for Marriott, and was a nice planned change after a few days in boutique hotels with small beds in other parts of Europe. Location was a reasonable walking distance to the main attractions, and a nice farmer's market and large supermarket right around the corner. So it was everything we'd planned it to be. Only comment is the front desk / concierge staff seemed a bit stressed out and over-busy a couple times, but were still helpful.

Centrally located. Pleasant and safe.Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: Reception staff was extremely helpful and kind. There is an ATM inside the hotel near the bar. The location is great.
Location: Stay away from RED bus tour. They shuttle you to a big bus, when the tour is over dump you out 10 blocks from Town Square. Go with yellow bus tour.
Walking distance from the main train station. Near Old Town Square. Coffee house on premises. The room was clean and pleasant. Airport mini bus picks up in front of hotel.

Lovely hotel situated close to Municipal HousePosted 17-Jul-2014
Pros: Very convenient central location, beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good gym facilities, clean and well-kept, handy Illy cafe downstairs.
Cons: They could provide bathrobes, and more with their tea/coffee making facilities. For 3 of us we got only 2 creamer sachets per day, not 1 each.
Location: Excellent location, close to the Municipal House/Old Town/the 200 shops Palladium Centre. Lots of restaurants, cafes nearby and a supermarket too.
First time in Prague, it didn't disappoint, beautiful city. Our hotel was great, very good location, excellent facilities, staff helpful and friendly. There's lots to do in Prague if you want to and there's something to suit everyone but equally you can take your time to relax and sit and watch the world go by too. We spent 11 days there and enjoyed many lovely restaurants/cafes ... we had 2 vegetarians and a very fussy eater and we managed no problem. We walked everywhere and it's easy to explore on foot, although a bit maze like at times so you can get a little lost but you normally just discovered a new shop/restaurant you didn't know about. I felt very safe there and communication was no problem, everyone spoke very good English. We took a river cruise to Prague Zoo which was a lovely way to get there and the Zoo was really good. We also took a coach trip out to the Pilsner Urquell Brewery which was brilliant. Too many other things to mention but we were sad to leave and would visit again.
