“Impressive! We will be back again.”
This is a beutiful hotel with a superb view of the river and the city with a discrete but impeccable staff. Our junior suite was spacious and elegant and we were very pleased to have two bathrooms with shower and jacuzzi. Overall the cost/quality was outstanding.
“friendly”
What a great hotel. Very friedly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with everything you need.(although no tea and coffee facilities in room, but avialable from room service or bar. Out of main area good for quiet, good value restraunts locally, transport good, but we enjoyed the walks. would have no problems recomending this hotel. They evan had a laptop you could borrow to keep in contact with family. Thanks for great weekend.
“Very impressed”
I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and am very impressed both at the hotel in general and the particularly the staffs. All the staffs speaked fluent English and were very helpful in solving routine request and also in making trip recommendation and booking concert tickets. The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to major attrations of the city (25 minutes walk to Old Town Square or Prague Castle). There are hotels closer to the city center but given the price/quality of the hotel I highly recommend this to fellow Prague visitors.
“Great experience”
My husband and I went to Prague as part of our anniversary trip. MaMaison was the perfect hotel for us. It was quiet. The view was very nice. The reception people were extremely helpful and patient. We would definitely try stay here again.
“Little jewel”
Somewhat out-of-the-way hotel that more than makes up for its location with its great service, friendly staff and charm. The 25-minute walks into Old Town Prague grow on you too; walking alongside the river to get to and from the hotel gives you a wonderful feel for the city without the tourists. Suggestion: do not cross the bridge until you really have to. The western side of the river (Mala Strana) is much better. A clean, tastefully decorated room, beautiful views of the river, almost adoring staff, great little bar, and red Riverside Hotel room slippers completed a great stay. All in all, Prague was all right, but the Riverside Hotel made the city far more enjoyable. The chocolates the night staff leave by your bedside also do great wonders as a substitute breakfast. Great energy!
“Brilliant staff, lovely hotel”
We went for a 50th birthday treat so we upgraded to a junior suite. The service was absolutely impeccable from all the staff we encountered (reception, housekeeping, porters, bar). The room was great, with a balcony overlooking the river. Fabulous. For some people the location might be a smidgeon far from the Old Town and Lesser Town (15-20 min walk), but we live in London and to us Prague is small and that was just a hop. Of course there was always the option of the tram. Definitely recommend this hotel.
“A real find”
Charming and elegant. Location is close enough in, but not right in the heart of a high tourist or business traffic area. Overlooks the river. Easy access to public transport. No more than a 15 to 20 minute walk from most things of interest. Very friendly staff. Wouldn't change a thing.
“Great Hotel - away from the crowds”
Prague is know as a "walking city" and I can assure you, you will do many many miles walking the beatiful cobble streets - therefore if you not a fan of walking this hotel maynot be for you. It is outside the tourist spots, which means it a great escape from the crowds. It would be about a 10 mintue walk from a tram or a good 30 mins from the Old Town. The Hotel looks to be newly furnished and the rooms are lovely. I arrived after midnight and they had all my details ready and check-in was easy and quick. The bell boy even made sure that I was not over charged by the Taxi driver - which was really nice !!! I had not problems with the hotel and would return without hesitation.
“River side : Cosy for Business”
Petit hôtel discret haut de gamme pas top loin du centre ni trop près. Très bon bar. Petites chambres mais bien équipées et très confortables.
“A beautiful hotel in beautiful Prague”
We stayed four nights in Hotel Malmaison Riverside in Prague . Everything was top grade , marvelous. This is our hotel in Prague if and when we go back again and if they have the possibility to reserve a room for us.

Smichov, Prague, Czech Republic: Tourists come to this outlying westerly suburb to visit the Mozart Museum in the Villa Bertramka, where Mozart stayed as a guest of the Czech composer Dusek in 1787. Not long afterwards, Smichovs vineyards and hopfields were replaced by factory chimneys.
