The K&K Hotel Central displays an ornate, 1900 Art Nouveau façade with gilt-accented details, wrought-iron with accents of antiqued-copper finish, and a glass entrance canopy. The restored reception area has a pale-marble floor, rose-marble accents, a long hallway with a sculptured vault ceiling, replicas of original chandeliers, and the original elevator gate.
A 24-hour complimentary business center contains four computers with high-speed Internet connections and a printer. The hotel also features 3 meeting and conference rooms.

The K&K Hotel Central, Prague, offers 127 guestrooms in a 6-story restored Art Nouveau building dating from 1900 joined to a 7-story section opened in mid-2004. Superior rooms are located in the newer section and contain light-colored wood parquet entries, tan carpeting with a mauve-pink pattern, amber-colored furniture, cream-colored walls with warm-wood wainscotting, and mauve-tan drapes.
Bedding includes white comforters/pillows and mauve throws. Chairs and granite-top cocktail tables provide a lounging area. White-tile bathrooms with shower/deep soaking bathtub combinations have earth-toned vanities and matching heated floors. Rooms feature direct-dial phones, 17-inch flat-panel LCD televisions with premium satellite channels, and complimentary dial-up, wired, and wireless Internet connections on work desks.

A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the Breakfast Hall, which occupies the mezzanine level of what once was a theater and features a vaulted glass-panel ceiling, vaulted alcoves containing antiqued-copper Art Nouveau light fixtures, and garden views through tall, arched windows with sheer white drapes.
Bistro Bar - Contemporary bar/restaurant with black-leather and gray-suede seating, soft green acrylic lighted bar, light-colored wood parquet floor. Open daily for sandwiches, salads, soups, pasta, and dishes such as pikeperch in lemon-butter sauce, steak, and duck in orange sauce.
Recreation
Housed in what was once a bar, a wellness center with elaborate Art Deco moldings on ceilings and walls contains cardio machines, a large freestanding sauna within a violet-colored acrylic cube, a shower room with bright-blue acrylic tiles and rain showerhead, and a massage/facial room.
There are few recreational facilities within downtown Prague other than health clubs that offer aerobics and yoga classes, with some also including indoor courts for racket sports. An ice-skating rink is formed in Old Town Square during the winter. Running/walking paths lie along the Vltava (Moldava) River, and rowboats can be rented on the river during summer. On the other side (west) of the river, Petřín Hill, accessible from the Little Quarter (Malá Strana) via a funicular railroad, provides a network of parks for walking, jogging and cycling.

“Great place to stay”
Beautiful full service hotel with a very helpful staff. I can highly recommend it.

I had an amazing stay in Prague, mainly because the selection of this hotel, which was at walking distance from all main atractions and offered a truly great service. The hotel is very beautiful and the room was always clean.
“Great location”
This is a lovely hotel in a really convenient location - Town Square within 5 minutes walk. The buffet breakfast is superb - probably the most varied we had ever seen - and it included champagne for those who wanted it. We had an executive room with no view and a VERY small bathroom, but otherwise it was absolutely fine. The complimentary edible treats we came back each day to was a nice touch. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay at other K&Ks by choice if the opportunity arises. Prague is a beautiful city with all the sights walkable (good way to avoid the dodgy taxi drivers). Stock up on your breakfast at the K&K as Prague is not the best city for food in our opinion.
“Bel hotel Art Nouveau très bien situé”
C'est un bel hôtel Art Nouveau. En particulier la salle de restauration (petit déjeuner) est très jolie. Les chambres sont confortables et bien équipées mais elles ne sont pas très grandes. L'hôtel est très bien situé puisqu'il est très proche que Vieux Prague.

“We'll be going back again”
This was our second time at this hotel and the third time for Prague. Its idealy located near the old town, for shopping and beer. The hotel is lovely to look at and quite relaxing inside. I highly recommend it for a birthday weekend as the management send up chilled champagne as a present. Its perfect, and the beds are really comfy.

Had a great time in Prague. Because of convenient location of hotel, all the major city sites were easily accessible. Staff very happy to help with any needs - always smiling and polite. Breakfast is very good - caters for everyone's preferences. Just around the corner from the metro for those who don't want to walk.
“K&K Central - Great location - recommended”
We stayed in the K&K Central hotel for four nights this Decemeber (2008). The hotel was very clean, tidy and modern, staff were extremely helpful. We stayed in a room in the new section of the hotel and though quite small, the rooms were well appointed with modern fixture and fittings and very clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent and well stocked what ever time you decided to eat! The locationof the hotel was fantastic. It was 5 mins walk from Old Town Square and the central railway station, Metro station and bus station. There were a few nice bars and restaurants located within a 100 meter radius of the hotel also. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend away and would go back there again.
