“Ideal for travelers confortable in a four star hotel”
Great location, and the third floor interior room was well decorated, clean, and quite. The bathroom was clean and modern. There are better hotels in Prague, but we will return to this hotel every time.
“good but noisy”
Hotel is very nice. Location - to dream about - rigth at the entrance to the Karlov Most (Charles Bridge). The only downside thing is - if your room's windows face the street - you can not open windows - it is very noisy , a lot of people walking by and a lot of exited talk on the street. There is also a night club in the hotel which works until 6am. So at 6 in the morning a lot of people get kicked out of the club and they are not trying to keep quiet... Otherwise, if you do not have to open your windows it is perfect. And you might want to open them due to the lack of airconditioners in rooms.
“top location.”
Hotel was in a great location. I read the comments about the club but we were given a 4th floor room at the back. So never had any problems at all. Being on the 4th floor did mean strairs as no lifts. Also found they must love their heat, the room must of been 30 degrees when we arrived - but they had TRV radiator valves so just turned them down to my normal 20 degrees. We arrived at 10am in the morning and quite expected to have to just leave bags until later but we were led straight to our room as it was free, maybe we were lucky but a great service. The big plus for this hotel is location 1 min from Charles Bridge.
“a propos de l'hôtel”
TRES IMPORTANT : 2 problèmes a propos de cet hôtel, il n'a pas le confort d'un 4 étoiles, pas de séche cheveux par exemple. Trés difficile de dormir avant 4 h du matin, car l'hôtel est situé dans une rue trés trés trés touristique et fréquentée et tout est bruyant. Il y a deux fenêtres mais elles ne ferment pas correctement (chambre 2) on a l'impression de dormir sur le trottoir.
“Good news; bad news”
We booked this hotel on Expedia because it was centrally located and appeared to be a good value -- it was both, but there are some drawbacks. First the good stuff: The hotel is literally three doors down from the Charles Bridge and very convenient to all major sights in Prague. The included breakfast was very good and provided variety, quantity and quality. The traditionally furnished room was clean and attractive. Then the not-so-good stuff: The hotel was almost too close to the "action" with the Charles Bridge drawing huge crowds (especially on Sunday the day of our arrival). The room was uncomfortably hot with no temperature control and with windows which when open would seem inviting to cat burglars (maybe I'm just paranoid). Last but not least, there was NO SHOWER, only a tub and a hose (this may be common in European hotels, but we found it an unpleasant surprise).

Stare Mesto , Prague, Czech Republic: The heart of the city, Stare Mesto's historic buildings are splendidly preserved. Linking the Old Town with Mala Strana is the Charles Bridge with its gallery of saintly statues.
