“Hotel General - Wonderful”

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of the hotel, we were upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival as not many other guests were staying during our visit. The room was vey quiet, though hot on the first night, but after turning the radiators down the rest of the hotel experience was excellent and only a pleasant 20 minutes walk from the attractions of the Old Town and Charles Bridge.

The hotel is generally very pleasant and I'd have no hesitation about recommending it, however what really sets it apart is the helpfulness and thoughtfulness of the staff. I travel for work overseas a huge amount and I've not experienced better service or more consideration for a customer.

Although a little away from the major tourist areas, my wife and I were very happy with this hotel. Staff were very helpful and breakfast more than enough. About a 30min or more walk to the centre, but buses, trams and metro very close. The trams are frequent, and although a little dubious at first, very easy to use. Tickets available form the metro stop about 5 mins away. A larger city than we thought and walking on cobbles and up and down hills and numerous towers can be tiring, but the numerous eating and drinking places more than compensate.

“Très bon hotel, bien qu'un peut excentré”

Dès l'accueil nous avons apprécié l'hôtel. Enregistrement personnalisé et attentionné avec un verre de vin offert. La chambre est très confortable et le petit déjeuner plus que satisfaisant avec toujours un soins particulier apporté par le personnel de l'hôtel. L'hôtel est très propre. Le seul point mitigé est la situation de l'hôtel un peu excentré mais nous avons réservé en connaissance de cause. Autre point particulier, la situation à ''proximité'' d'une brasserie, ce qui nous permettait de situer l'hôtel à l'odeur du houblon le soir (uniquement une légère odeur pas du tout gênante)

The hotels rooms are small but the staff and extra amenities make up for it.

The hotel was ok but not as great as I'd hoped. The first room we were giving STANK of stale smoke and they were slow to find us a new room
