“Cheap and Cheerful - excellent beer!”

Of course you get what you pay for. For the cost this represented very good value for money. The rooms were clean, the hotel was warm, the beds were comfortable (if basic) the food was edible and dinner was cheap enough ( if not luxurious). The staff were pleasant nad some chatty and spoke good English. The bus service - to the Metro - and the metro itself superb - very convenient. A general tip for grey-beards... Prague city transport offers a (nearly) 50% discount for seniors BUT you need a PID card (we never quite found out how to get one! We think it was at City Transport HQ somewhere near, but not actually in, metro station I.P.Pavlova)

The hotel is simple and ok for the traveller on their own or in transit.

“Ugly, dirty, and small”

Had to be one of the smallest, most cramped and dirty rooms I've had in a long while. I would never go back to this hotel. Pay a little more and get something you can feel comfortable in.
