Property Amenities
The Golden Tulip Prague Terminus' restoration and conversion into a hotel preserved its original mosaic-tile floors and a grand staircase with more mosaic-tile floors at each level. Although the original elevator facings could not be preserved, replicas of the delicate wrought-iron facings were created.
The hotel staff speaks fluent English and translation services are provided.

Upholstered reading chairs, coffee table, and dark-wood furniture, includes a desk and large headboards(s). All rooms include cable TV, in-room safes, and direct-dial phones. Tan-tile bathrooms include gold-colored vanities and shower/tub combinations. High-speed Internet connections are complimentary.

Recreation
There are few recreational facilities within downtown Prague other than health clubs that offer aerobics and yoga classes, with some also including indoor courts for racquet sports. An ice-skating rink is formed in Old Town Square during winter. Running/walking paths lie along the Vltava (Moldava) River, and rowboats can be rented on the river during summer. On the other side (west) of the river, Petřín Hill, accessible from the Little Quarter (Malá Strana) via a funicular railroad, contains a network of parks for walking, jogging and cycling.

“Excellent base for discovering Prague”
Excellent desk service. Upgrade of room given on arrival. Help with booking excursions from an efficient staff. Comfortable and well serviced room. the buffet breakfast was varied and substantial. We would not hesitate to use this hotel again.
“Superb rooms, excellent breakfast!”
The neighborhood isn't charming, but once you are in the hotel it doesn't matter. And it's a short walk to the charming Old Town (Stare Mesto). The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a wide choice of healthy stuff. The staff are very friendly, but don't seem to be knowledgeable - about the public transport system or good places to eat. Both the recommended dinner places were very disappointing.
“Class Act”
Central location, very comfortable rooms, nice staff, not too expensive. A class act all round. I think the only gripe I had the whole time was that the reception didn't sell stamps, and my room had quite a lot of static electricity! Good selection of TV channels and the safe in each room was a nice touch. Heartlily recommended!
“Satisfied with My Choice!”
The hotel staff were very helpful. They had a car service available for getting around and to the airport and the breakfast was as good as any I have had in 30 years of international travel.
“Wonderful service”
We were extremely satifisfied with the hotel . The hotel staff were wonderful. Everyone spoke english. They all were extremely helpful in getting transportation, tours etc... The rooms were very clean as well. We loved our stay in Prague and I know that a good part was because of the service we received in this hotel.
“enjoyed our stay immensely”
The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was good - sufficient choice and tables were quickly cleared after use. The hotel was nicely decorated and not too far from the main square - 10 to 15 minute walk.
“Isabelle (BOSTON)”
Everything was perfect, i can recommend this hotel, it is a perfect place to stay in Prague. The breakfast (buffet) is very good.
“Thumbs Up on This One!”
Although this hotel was at the end of the street it was within walking distance of Old Town Square. The staff were very professional and helpful and the hotel had a wonderful buffet breakfast. They also provide free internet which was helpful for making those contacts with loved ones back home!
“Excellent experience”
The hotel is a straight shot, 10-15 minute walk to Old Town Square. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a huge variety of hot and cold foods. The room was the largest hotel I've seen in Europe. I also really enjoyed the giant luxury pillows on the bed. I would definitely stay here again.
“despite its seemingly dodgey location, i'd stay there again.”
this staff at this hotel was extremely helpful and very nice. the location is near the main bus station and right next to the expressways, so it seems a bit dingy. however, it is a 10-min walk to wenceslas square and close to all the shopping, right next to several tram stops and of course right next to a subway stop. the hotel lobby makes the hotel seem a bit small. but the interior of our room was spacious, clean, modern, comfortable and even the hallways were wide. complimentary breakfast was quite good. and there are 2 computers with high-speed internet right next to the lobby. they were helpful and booked us a bus tour w/tour guide (the tour guides are hit or miss though)that lasts for about 3 hours. as well, they offer a fixed price cab service to the airport with a reliable taxi driver and service. i would stay here again, as it seemed reasonably priced for what we received.
