Extremely noisy, dirty and unpleasant hotel with torn pillowcases and curtains. We have payed 270€ for two nights, I couldn’t believe my eyes too see the real,price - 23€ per,night. How can it be? I would never recommend this place.

Wouldnt come back
Disappointing experience. The rooms are NOT like the pictures at all. The bathroom was shared with another room, which was not announced. No TV as described. Poor wifi and rude staff. Location was convenient though.

Positive experience but poor wifi
Stayed here a few nights with my family and overall a positive experience. Room was very big and clean and had a nice view to the street. It's not super close to the city center but a very doable 35 min walk or a quick tram 15min tram ride. Breakfast was average and not too much variety, but overall pleased. My main annoyance with this hotel is that the wifi is absolutely terrible! So if you want to get any work done or stream netflix at the end of the day you really can't. The one other downside is the towels need some updating as they even gave us one towel with holes in it and despite being clean it looked more like a cleaning rag with the number of holes in it. Despite the above would stay here again, but would have to figure out a way around wifi issues.

The hotel is well located - despite the lack of a car park belonging to the hotel, we managed to find a parking place near the building. The room in which we slept was excellent - a large comfortable bed, clean bathroom, all the necessary equipment worked. The advantage is that the reception desk is open 24 hours a day. The hotel staff was also polite. I wouldn't hesitate to give the highest note, but on the day we left the hotel, the lady said that before we check out, we have to wait for the staff to check that we left the room in order. We were confused - in no European and Asian country did we experienced a similar practice. We slept in Prague several times and in no hotel or hostel did anyone check if the room was cleaned before the guests left. Such practices are a lack of trust and respect for guests.

For example, guests often forget personal items, chargers, documents that the hotel has to send to guests by courier. This causes inconvenience to both guests and the hotel. Very cheap, very short tram ride to the centre, perfect for a cheap few days in Prague. We used the hotel simply to sleep in, as soon as we woke we left for the entire day. Yeh there’s no tv and it isn’t that pleasing on the eye, but it did exactly what it was required to do.

While this hotel is not near any sightseeing, it was only a tram ride away. Tram system was easy and cheap. At first, we worried about the looks of the area. But after our first night, we felt safe walking to and from the tram in the evening hours. The service by employees was great! They were friendly and available to answer any questions. With a few upgrades, this hotel would be perfect for those wanting to travel on a budget. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but again out dated; could use a new sofa and a little sprucing up. The bath room was clean but could use updating. The shower was very small and not a lot of space to move around. All that being said, because they were very accomodating-even had tram tickets there to purchase-we would stay again.

A nice place to stay.
As soon as we walked in to the hotel, we got a very nice, warm welcome, with all details and attractions explained and pointed out on a map. The room is nice and I can't say I expected anything different. Only improvements I can think of is that even though the double bed was 2 singles next to each other, the Duve should have been one that fits a double and not 2 single duves. Also, the curtains were there mostly to provide a bit of privacy rather than stopping the sunlight coming in. The couple of things I just mentioned above are simple suggestions for improvement and I would probably opt to for the same hotel if I were to visit Prague again!

Had a very large pillow with hardly any stuffing inside it so it was quite uncomfortable to use so had to use a rolled up bed throw as a booster. Staff were absolutely fabulous. Had a fridge but no tea making facilities and had to buy a travel kettle myself. Had an old style TV and of the 4 channels available only 1 was in English and that was BBC World News and could not retune it. Just glad I had my smart phone with me. Overall, I had a fantastic time. I can't emphasise how wonderful the desk staff were. Really helpful. Travel is really cheap. 551 Koruna (about £14 at 34 Koruna to the pound) gets you a full months travel on the Trams, Metro and Buses. Marvelous value.

Location is fine but this hotel is old and creepy. Only reason I stayed is because it was New Years time and I had waited too late to book a decent hotel. This was one of the few available. They didn't even clean the bathroom shower stall during my stay. Nor did they remove the trash. I left a day early and they would not give me my money back. I've never had that happen before. Don't stay at this hotel unless your desperate.

Had tried to rebook my single room as a double room without any answer from the hotel. When I turned up I found out that they had actually done this without informing me, but by then it was too late. Very frustrating. And they couldn't organise a packed breakfast for me either.

Gallery Hotel Sis
The hotel is situated a little bit outside the city centre of Prague, but the centre is easily accessible with tram and and there were plenty of free parking spaces in the street outside the hotel. Very convenient if you travel by your own transportation. The hotel is personally decorated, the rooms are spacious and clean. But I have to say it really didn't go well with their image of a luxury hotel when the door handle of the bathroom came off when touched and the next day the maid had just stuck it back in without getting someone to actually fix it. And we got a twin room though we requested a double. Breakfast was nice. Pretty good value for money!

The price is great for such a central Hotel. Room was not very big but bright and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Its near trams and easily accessible to all interesting sights of Prague. Will definitely stay there again. Car parking outside was handy also. They charged 10 euro which I though was a bit steep for a terrier pet but it was better than leaving her in the car outside the hotel overnight.

OK for 3 stars
I spent 1 week at this hotel because it is within walking distance to the Congress Center. However to get to the Center or to the Old City you need to take the tram, which is convenient though; just make sure you buy tickets in advance since not all stations have selling machines. The room was OK, fairly clean, although relatively small ... but you don't go to Prague to spend your day inside the hotel room. The service was OK. The buffet breakfast was more than OK. The variety served was really good. I just loved their breakfast! The only downside was the internet! Inside the rooms it was rather not working. So if you need internet, prepare to use it mostly from the ground-floor lobby. Overall, I would stay there again anytime!

The room was small and cold (but the true is, it was also -10 °C outside). The biggest problem was, that you hear everything from the rooms in your neighbourhood. The hotel staff was friendly and helpfull. There is a direct tram to the city centre (15 min.).

Not the best part of the city to be located in (distance and run down)
The hotel was very basic with uncomfortable pillows - the bedding/towels weren't refreshed nor the room cleaned after our first night, but was on subsequent nights. The tap in the sink leaked incessantly and the bathroom floor was flooded several times. Breakfast was adequate although it did feel a bit like sitting in a front parlour. Smokers everywhere (but then this was Prague!). Staff at reception were helpful. Although situated quite a way out of the centre and in a run down area, the tram stop was close by with trams running into the city frequently. Loved Prague but wouldn't stay here again or recommend.

How this can be classed as 4 star who knows. more like 1 star. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together, no mini bar as stated in booklet. Mouldy shower door and shower, dodgy electrics and 2 electric lamps not working. Also no coffee making facilities or anything of the Ilk. Reception were very helpful,and pointed in right direction for whatever questions asked. As we wanted a quiet location was fine and close to trams which are well worth using.

Great Hotel in Vrsovice
Booked a twin room for myself and a friend, and am pleased to say there were no problems this time, as compared to my stay last month. (See earlier review). Nice and quiet, good breakfast if you have another time to eat it, and at least they did remember the take-away breakfast this time, although just 2 sandwiches is hardly substantial and I feel they could have done better.

Gallery SIS Review - Vrsovice
It's a good value hotel, and maybe I was a little unlucky this time, having stayed there previously. First problem was with the door key - they use the electronic ones, and I seem to have problems with these things wherever I stay. So, back down to reception where the receptionist came up with me, and it took her 3 attempts to make it work. The second problem was the toilet door handle - it came off in my hand at 2am in the morning, which meant I had to pay an earlier than anticipated visit to reception in the morning to get it fixed, before I was able to wash etc. The third problem was the breakfast. On my last day, I had to leave early, so I had specifically requested a 'take-away' breakfast, as advertised. When it came to 5am at my time of departure, they'd forgotten about it completely, so I went away empty handed. On the plus side, the hotel is in a quiet area, there's a great pub called Zly Casy less than 5 minutes walk which over 20 types of Czech pivo on draught, trams and shops are close by, and it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the mainline station at Vrsovice, with a regular service to more distant towns such as Ceske Budejovice. There's also the nearby depot where they maintain 40+ year old class 749 diesels which work weekend trains to Tanvald and Cercany. Look out for 749006, 039, 102, 107 and 121 if you like your travel with a bit of proper noise! Would I stay there again - on balance, yes.

A very friendly hotel
I was happy with the staff in the hotel. When I had put my luggage there before I checked in.A lady at the front desk showed me a map and suggested good ways of sight-seeing in the town. In the room, there were some problems with the rooms and I asked to change them to another one. I actually changed 2 rooms because of some facility problems. But the staff was kindly dealt accepted my request. I finally got a clean andwide room. Thanks to his kindness, I really enjoyed the trip.
