“A basic and good value hotel”
Mt wife and I decided at the last minute to go to Prague and were advised to go to Kinsky Garden. Despite only booking 3 weeks before travelling we could not find a cheaper hotel of the same standard. The only downside is the distance from the hotel as it is a 20 minute walk from the east bank of the river and 30 minutes to Wenceslas Square. However, the route is fairly straight forward and the walk back takes you past a number of sights and the most spectacular is the view at the bridge towards the Castle/Cathedral.
“Good location”
About 1 mile from city center. Easy walk, tram or metro ride. Very quite area.
“the no-problem hotel”
Very nice rooms, all modern, and absolutely delicious staff, always friendly and happy to help. The hotel is 10mn walk from the Charles's bridge, so you are close enough from the center and the attractions, but the rooms are quiet. The river and the nice local restaurants are 5mn away and the park is just across the street.
“Brilliant service”
The Best Western Kinsky Garden Hotel in Prague is delightful. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. It is a beautifully appointed hotel, very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The only thing missing is tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
“Very nice hotel in a surprisingly good location”
The hotel is on the west side of the river, about 15-20 minutes walk from the Charles Bridge (or quicker by tram if you prefer). We found that to be a very good thing, as the centre of the city was rammed with other tourists during our stay. There are lots of places to eat and drink on the road north from the hotel to the C.B. and there's a good shopping mall with a Tesco and M&S a few minutes in the other direction. Best of all, you can walk (uphill) through the very peaceful gardens on the other side of the road from the hotel and easily reach the observation tower, monastery and castle whilst enjoying some fantastic views of the other side of the city. The hotel itself has plenty of character and our rooms were great: smartly furnished with wooden flooring. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, there was lots of variety at breakfast and the wi-fi worked fine throughout the hotel. The only quibble we had was that the in-room air-con wasn't terribly effective, but it wasn't bad enough to complain about. I'd definitely consider staying there again on a return visit to Prague.
“Everything I hoped for and more.”
I will definitely go back to this hotel. Of all the places we saw, we were so glad we were staying here. The location was central but not in the noisy, touristy part of Prague. Easy walk across the bridge, to the gardens or to shops and restaurants. Great breakfast served all morning each day. Good service, access to internet. Loved this hotel. Loved the room.
“Very nice hotel”
The Kinsky Gardens hotel is very nice, very clean, and very comfortable. It obviously had been recently renovated or remodeled and was quite well-maintained. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel exceeded my expectations and I can be quite picky. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is in a very beautiful and convenient location in Prague as well, without being in too noisy or congested an area. It's perfect for a tourist. And it has a great breakfast buffet, with hot food, in addition to the usual cold items.
“Nice hotel, good location”
It's very nice hotel with very good breakfast. Stuff is helpful, rooms are small, but have everything what’s needed. I would recommend as my wife too.
“Great hotel excellent location”

Smichov, Prague, Czech Republic: Tourists come to this outlying westerly suburb to visit the Mozart Museum in the Villa Bertramka, where Mozart stayed as a guest of the Czech composer Dusek in 1787. Not long afterwards, Smichovs vineyards and hopfields were replaced by factory chimneys. Today, many of these old industrial buildings have been converted into bars, shops and hotels for a fresh influx of residential settlers.
