“A short week-end break in Prague”
A little disappointed on arrival at hotel by the lack of friendliness of the receptionist. There was not a warm welcome. Receptionist only acknowledged you after you had made the first approach. Restaurant staff friendly and very efficient. Chamber maids were thorough in cleaning of room daily. Location of hotel although a 20 minute walk to old town was well worth staying at.
“Great hotel at a good price”
I'd arranged a three day visit to Prague and this hotel was a perfect location for exploring the city. I was lucky enough to be allocated a room at the rear of the hotel (room 510) which was very quiet and overlooked a courtyard. Other guests mentioned the noise from the tram which runs past the front of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast selection was great. The only down side of my stay was that there was very little information available in reception.
“Very comfortable hotel, in a great situation in Prague.”
Hotel very clean and comfortable, all staff very helpful and friendly. Will definately return.
“excellent”
Had a fabulous time. Staff so effecient and yet laid back. My son is going soon and he will be booking the same hotel.
“Quiet but close via tram”
Great place to stay. Staff could book tour tickets and sell tram pass (get the 3 day) on the spot. They also have an agreement with an honest taxi company for the trip to the airport(575K). Breakfast good and served 4.5 hours each morning plus coffee and tea all day no charge. Computer in lobby for free internet access. Newspapers in lobby in 5 languages as well as a wall of tour info and flyers. Tram 17, 14, & 23 will get you almost anywhere. The restraunts close by are less expensive for same quality as in the tourist center. Ask desk for some names.
“Envious of those yet to go”
The hotel is ideally situated, not to near the hustle and bustle of city life, but near enough so that a 10 minute walk gets you right into the centre of Prague, the hotel itself is wonderful, and the staff are very friendly,i would strongly recommend the hotel, without exception.
“Highly recommended”
Great hotel for Prague visit. Centre is easily reached on foot (or tram). Staff helpful and facilities all you want. Free self service tea and coffee in the bar 24 hours was a nice touch.
“Great hotel”
Lovely stay at the Best Western City Moran. Not too far to walk into the Old Town Square (around 20 mins)and nice and quiet at night. Staff were very friendly, all spoke english and the honesty bar in the hotel was great! Would def stay there again.
“Highly recommended”
Great hotel. Very clean, new, friendly staff, very good breakfast. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. Not a very central location but within walking distance to the main tourist attractions. It is a nice walk from the hotel to the main points to visit. Still only a few steps from a metro station.
“Great hotel and value.”
This was a great hotel. Clean with a good breakfast and curious service. It is about a15 minute walk from the city center which was a nice excuse to get some exercise and explore. There is a great cafe across the street and a mini-market down on the street that is reasonable.
