“Perfect for the budget”
Well I thought this place was awesome. I agree the bathroom does need a little bit of attention but it's certainly livable and functionable. I had a bit of problem with the fluctuating of temp in the water but it was no problem. The location of this is just perfect for us. We didn't want to stay in the heart of it as we didn't want the noise and liked the exercise. The location is excellent, its the nicest street and there is a restaurant partly down the hill that serves the best food for a good price. The place is large compared to a hotel room. The only issue I had was the internet service. At night after front desk turned off her laptop we would get internet, but during the day when front desk was using her own personal laptop to download we had no internet which was frustrating. Also the internet didn't work at all even in the lobby if they were using eftpos. Do not buy anything until you have visited the small shopping area nearby. If you turn left from the front door head towards residential area, you will come to a park(watch the squirells). Walk down the steep hill and under the railway line that whole area is away from tourist. The locals shop here. The food and clothing is super cheap. You can buy a travel jug, gaming store, clothing and more for a third of the price. Umbrellas 2euro. If you head right from the front door go all the way to the main road, cross the road is a large tram station.
“Would go back any time”
Had top floor to ourselves. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Close to metro. Could use fluffier pillows, but that's Europe.
“Aparthotel Gregory: très chaleureux”
Le personnel est disponible et très sympathique ! L'emplacement est idéal, les transports sont à deux pas, et le quartier est vraiment charmant !
“Hébergement spacieux et calme à 15 minutes du coeur de Prague.”
Grandes chambres bien équipées et calmes dans un quartier tranquille, à deux pas des stations de tram et métro qui emmènent au coeur de la ville en 15 minutes. Possibilité de garage très appréciée.
“as a price / quality its perfect”
we stay as a family of 4 adults. the hotel is very close the metro stop" namesti miru" , the rooms are big enough, heating was perfect, 24 hour hot water, no noise, reception was very helpfull, very advisable for families as a frequent traveller I personaly advice to stay.
“Excellent value for money”
Got to the hotel about 2 hours before the check in time and they had one of the two rooms we booked ready to go in to. the six of us went on up and within an hour the other room was ready to check into. rooms are huge and suited our travelling party down to the ground. Lovely bathrooms in all rooms as well! Although the hotel is a bit out of the way the metro system in prague means you can be in old town square in about ten minutes for less than a pound. Because of this it doesn't matter that you're a bit out of the way. The one and only negative was that we went to tesco to buy shopping and when we got back discovered the cooker in our room wasn't working! didnt spend too much money on the shopping it in any event so not much to complain about. Staff are all very nice and the girls in our party took a wee fancy to one of the guys working there... I don't know why though. The rooms are all very well spaced out as well and even though the fact that we were probably a tad noisy we didnt get any complaints as you have tonnes of room for yourself. Definatly would go back here if I was going back to Prague.
“Great apartment”
Quiet but safe neighbourhood, walking distance to metro, great location. Decently clean. Great for pet-owners, we went with our small dog and that was not a problem at all with them. Highly recommended if you are travelling with your pet.
“Hotel Gregory à Prague”
Service sympathique Chambre spacieuse mais pas assez équipé à mon gout. Pas de télécommande pour la tv et impossible de changer les voix/ sous titre. Seulement une bouilloire pour la kitchenette. Température variable pour la douche. Deux petite couvertures pour le lit seulement Très très bien desservi (tram + métro à proximité) Une multitude de petites brasseries à proximité peu cher et agréable. Très belle ville.
“Out of the way but close to Metro stop.”
The staff was very polite and helpful with information we asked and explained the proceedure if we wanted breakfast, that was extra. He also had a taxi waiting for us in the morning as we had requested. Nice fountain in the center of the street and cafes around on all sides of the streets.
“Good budget option”
I liked this accommodation. The staff were VERY helpful and friendly. We really didn't know what to expect before arriving and this hotel is actually an apartment within an apartment building. The "lobby" of the "hotel" is located next to the building where the apartments are located. The street where it is located is VERY busy and loud at night so prepare for that. When we were there, it was quite warm so we had our windows open at night and the noise from outside was constant. Even with this, I would recommend this hotel to others. It is comfortable and is very large. We had a large living area, a kitchen, a separated shower/toilet, and a large bedroom.
