“hospitality of a different order”
My wife and I have spent a week in Prague every winter for 15 years . This years stay was without a doubt transformed by the actions of one person - Christina - the owner of Aparthotel 5 . She went out of her way to be helpful in a way which is not only in our experience rare in Prague but stands out in comparison to any other city in which we have stayed for years . The apartment itself was perfect for our needs , convenient for shops ( Tesco and Albert only 300m away ) and for public transport both tram and metro to virtually any part of the city . At the end of our ten day stay we were genuinely sad to leave both the hotel and Christina. My only hesitation in praising it too much is that it might become so popular that we can't make next years booking!! What more can I say .
“great place to stay”
Great place to stay and Kristina looked after us so well - from city guide when we arrived to restaurant recommendations in the evenings, toasties in the morning and hot wine when the cold outside got a bit too much! 100% recommend staying here
“Gem”
Excellent value with outstanding hospitality. A short metro ride to central locations. Good cafe (Paul) and restaurant/pub nearby, next to shopping center with Tesco. Bus 100 and metro goes from airport to hotel in an hour, costs less than 2 USD. If one can avoid pickpockets and taxis, Prague is safe.
“Great place to stay in Prague”
The staff (Kristina) is awesome, accomodating, and knowledgeable. Hotel is very clean, modern, and tastefully decordated. Cafe downstairs is very convenient for breakfast. Great value. About a 20 minute walk to the major attractions in central Prague. I would definitely stay again. A great experience.
“Prague's hidden secret”
This the second time we have stayed at Aparthotel City 5 which I think says it all. Kristiana makes you feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. From making the best toasties in town, to checking what time the bus goes to the airport, and the baby christmas tree in our room nothing is too trouble.
“I would come back next time I'm in Prague”
It was a short stay but the staff was very friendly and I've got all attantion. They arrange me a ride to airport for much cheaper than I payed for my ride from airport to hotel. Very cozy place to stay.
“Prague”
the hotel was wonderful like i said, it was walking distance fromt the public transportation and easy to get to since we were traveling by train. I was a good 20 or 30 minute walk to the heart of the old town. Not much around the hotel, not many people on the streets around the hotel when walking home late at night.
“Great stay in Aparthotel 5”
Very good hotel, very good welcome and explanation of where to go and what to do. The only downside is that it is a fair old walk to old town and the more busy areas of Prague.
“Great Location”
We stayed 3 nights and the hotel was fine. It provided a kitchen as well in the room which could be handy. I thought the mattress was comfortable and location excellent for visiting tourist sites. The breakfast was a bit scant and it would help if there was some cheese, fruit to add to the continental breakfast. Lift is tiny but that was fine. Overall I would stay there again
“Great Place”
This hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the Charles Bridge but only 5 minutes via the Metro. The Metro station is a 5 minute walk. The rooms were extreemly clean and modern, although the matress on single beds were a little thin, however comfortable for us. The staff of the hotel are extreemly helpful and top notch and treat you like family. They have a little cafe, which porvides breakfast and great coffee. The only downside is the street noise and pub noise from across the street. However about midnight or 1:00am things quite down. I highly reccomend this place and would go back again.
