It is forbidden to build higher than 7 meters. If you pass with the ferry the river you'll find the road to Arraial d'ajuda. Halfway this 4 km long road you find on the sea side Arraial Praia. Where Porto Seguro have the real big beach bars where they can easely put 5000 persons, you have on the other hand Arraial where almost everything small and cosey is. Broadway and the square of the hippies reminds on the times that Arraial was a real hippie village. You find the diversity of nationalities back in the large number and types off restaurants mostly from very good quality. The wide area can discovered by a variety of excursions.
