Stayed 4 nights. Great staff, breakfast and facility. Centrally located. We requested a cab from the front desk for the morning we left and it was on time (actually early). Highly recommended.

Hotel was very nice and the staff were great. It is located within walking distance of many sites in Porto. The only issue we had was the air conditioning didn’t work in our room and Porto had a heat wave 3/23/24 - 3/26/24. They did provide us with a fan which helped but being on the top floor it was still uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Felt safe. Beautiful property. Did not like that the roof top terrace was not open and that the heat/air conditioning did not work. Also shower was either scaling hot or freezing.

I am sorry that you could not enjoy the terrace, and also the air con not working, although there is a heater in the room for guests comfort. This is a great CLASSIC old hotel full of history and stories and RIGHT in the middle of the Bohalo district. Close to almost everything. We took tram- subway directly from airport than an EASY downhill walk 1 block to hotel. Staff was helpful and amazing. I would stay again in a heartbeat!!

The staff was friendly upon check-in. We had a room on the 3rd floor which was quite small for 2 people and had a terrible and strong chemical odor due to construction of the 4th floor which made me sick. I didn't smell the odor on Sunday but smell it immediately on Monday and again felt nausea and it gave me a terrible headache. I informed the front desk and was moved to another room on a separate floor. No apologies was given. Besides that issue everything else was excellent. Its a beautiful hotel and clise to many shops and Café including majestic Café. No access to the gym or roof deck because of the construction. My son loved the decor.

In fact we had an intervetion on the 2nd floor that day, we had to paint a whole room, and the smell went up to the 3rd floor. I am really sorry for this! The service was excellent from start to finish. Staff are extremely friendly and at the same time very professional. Hotel is very well set up and with a sense of style. Location is very central and easy walking distance to local attractions. Breakfast was very good and lots of choice.

Great staff and fabulous breakfast! Shame about the awful smell from the bathroom toilets and hotel drains. At times it was unbearable. Also the veiwing terrace and fitness toom were closed for renovation which was unfortunate.

The wonderful regency style decor.. The settings style of the dinning rooms.. Dinner in the evening was delicious. The only thing that was difficult for us was that the bedroom was small with 2 cases in. Perhaps we should have asked for an upgrade. Thank you.

Hotel staff, location and hotel quality was excellent, only negative comment is about the breakfast, tiny glasses for juice, overcooked scrambled eggs only available, when asked for an omelete they wanted 5 euros, limited ceraels, overall food was not so fresh, hotel can do better to match the hotel premium status.

Great location. Super central right in the middle of the main shopping street in Porto. Yet the room was tucked in the back and quiet. No view however. Older property with some spotty WiFi connection in the room. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Tons of food options within walking distance.

The breakfast room looks grand with chandeliers, nice choices of food especially the fresh fruit. Very convenient location to go to everywhere. The staff at the front desk have been very helpful, and the bellman was polite and greeted us all the time.

I loved the old style design of this hotel. It was a nice counterpoint to the the modern hotels where I stayed during my trip. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful (e.g., they had a handy map when I requested one). The incluced breakfast is amazing and you get to enjoy it in a beautiful breakfast room.

Lovely hotel in a great location
A lovely hotel on the main pedestrianised shopping street in Porto. Very comfortable rooms and nice decor throughout. The buffet breakfasts were very good and the staff friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay at the Grande Hotel the next time we visit Porto

This was a hotel with a great history - the rooms were decorated to reflect a different era. Area was convenient for walking around Porto - walking is the best way to get around, so you’ll need good, comfortable shoes! Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good - a wonderful start for a busy day.

A wonderful stay
Close to the train station and a short walk to all the sites. The hotel has a quiet elegance and attentive staff. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Rooms are very comfortable. Can’t imagine wanting to stay any place else in Porto.

The hotel was very charming! The staff was wonderful! I was looking forward to staying here and the the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was great, right in the heart of the city and very walkable. The rooms were updated, very clean and quiet. I highly recommend!
