"Okay for a cheap stay"
If you just need a place to crash and don't want to spend a lot of money, this Days Inn is totally adequate. The staff at the front desk were all quite friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was older, but well maintained. It was cleaned thoroughly each day. It also had a mini-fridge and microwave! The bed was very squeaky and not the most comfortable. Some parts of the hallways smelled like urine. The room did not have a discernible odor, thankfully. The included breakfast was pretty standard. I had a banana and cereal every day. Really the only downside is that there's a lot of drifters around this area. Where do they even come from? This place is really out of the way, why are they walking around and how did they get out here? There were also more weirdos than usual staying at / loitering around inside the hotel, but I guess that's a factor of the affordability.

"Very good access"
Very good access but a bit noisy in the rooms. The internet access complicated as only three devices allowed (we were four in our party) and at the front desk couldn't help me to disconnect the devices. Overall very nice experience.

"Easy access to PDX airport and Portland"
I would give this hotel a solid 3.5 stars (out of 5) rating. There are pros & cons to staying here, as there usually are for hotels away from the middle of the city. So they are: Pros: • Free breakfast (typically scrambled eggs, sausages, and very thin/small pancakes, oatmeal, cold cereal, and continental style breakfast pastries) • Free parking (plenty of spaces including street parking) • Proximity to Portland (about 15 minutes drive into the heart of Portland with close freeway access). • Coffee/Tea (there's a hot coffee, tea, hot water station available to you in the lobby) Cons: • Comfortability (the bed we slept on in room 130 was NOT comfortable at all! It is dipped in on one side and it felt like I was sleeping in a hammock) • Noise (this is important to me because along with comfortability, the noise level from neighboring rooms impacts the amount of sleep you get. But every morning, I could hear our neighbors talking! Either the walls or thin or they love to talk really loudly. Also, the AC/heat unit made lots of noise while on) • Room amenities (while not high on the list of priorities for people trying to budget while traveling, the amenities in the actual room, such as shampoo & conditioner & soap, clothes hangers in closet, blow dryer are all very low quality. I am used to having lotion provided and there was none. Again, I understand this may or may not deter you, but you can definitely feel like you're staying at the budget friendly Residence Inn and not th

"Great hotel with a fantastic view of the water."
We were greeted by a very courteous hotel clerk who explained the many amenities the hotel had to offer. When we got up to our room, we found it clean, neat and very welcoming. We had a very relaxing time in Portland due in part to being in this hotel.

"Road Trip"
Nice facility. Reception and breakfast a bit confusing since no one took our vouchers. Pool and hot tub was nice for kids and work out facility needs updating. Machines may snap a cord because of rust/decay. Room was good with the divider. Had a refrig and microwave, this was good.

"Great location "
Beautiful view, great view, and nice rooms! Staff is very friendly. Pool side service was great! Our balcony was pool side which gave us river view. It's a bit noisy since it sits on I-5 and right by the airport.

"Great Hotel on the Island"
Came up here from CA for the 4th of July. Not only was the hotel staff very friendly, the room was fantastic, clean, and refreshed every day by the staff. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I've seen at any hotel. I was glad to be staying there for multiple days! Within a 5 minute walk you could view fireworks across the entire Washington border, beautiful display! If I go back to Portland, I'll be back at the Holiday Inn for sure.

My family and I had a very pleasant stay here. I would suggest putting a lock on the double doors separating the bedroom and living area, but other than that we had a great time.
