“Convenient to PSU”

Not the nicest motel I've stayed at, but perfectly adequate for the night. The room that my friends stayed in had no heat. Manager offered to switch rooms, but they were too tired at midnight to bother. The double bed in our room was marginal in comfort.

“OK for the price.”

We had changed our reservation to add a day. Room wasn't ready when we arrived so we went down to the restaurant. It was dark and dreary like an old bar rather that a restaurant. Restrooms were in disrepair. We just had tea and left. In short order the rooms were ready and were comfortable although both had a strange setup indicating that extra beds had been added to a room meant for fewer beds. Both beds could not see the TV that was in the room. Pillows were plentiful but postage stamp sized. Carpets definately need cleaning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was minimal with a few bagels and packaged sweetrolls along with coffee, juice and cereal. The cost of the room is less than many others so better on a tight budget.

“A relatively Cheap Hotel, do not expect too much”

Although I asked for non-smoking, I could smell smoke in my bathroom. The room also did not have a place to hang my coat. The front desk tried very hard to fix it but could not. Offered me another room at 10 pm to move to. The new room was better, but right above a restaurant with loud music and singers..... Thanks God I am a heavy sleeper... According to Expedia, breakfast was supposed to be included ,but it was not. I guess it was expedia's problem not the hotel. But it was close to many key areas. There was no gym as well. The front desk was courteous.

“You know, a place to sleep”

The service was fine, the room was comfortable and the location was very handy (just a tad tricky near the highway exits though). We just happened to get the room with the shower head not working - not a big deal. Downstairs (on Friday night) was a karaoke bar, but you can't really hear it from your room.

“OK for a place to sleep.”

It's an older motel-style property a little on the run down side. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. It's not for the very particular, but we only needed one night and were satisfied. When one pays a budget price you have to be realistic about what you'll be getting. The bathroom was clean as was the bedding.

“noisy but nice”

Super noisy.. either the housekeepers in the morning or people being rowdy at night. My neighbors were legit screaming at each other and it sounded like they were tossing furniture around. However, it's close to downtown and the staff is friendly and there\s an attached restaurant/bar

“Cheap, it was ok”

You pay for what you get. The wifi connection not all the times worked. The tv was old with a remote that did not work. Microwave old. However, it was clean and secure. It did not smell bad, the balcony was nice. The breakfast was $4 dollars if u stayed in the hotel and it was a descent breakfast. The service at the bar was nice and friendly, you can always request to try some Portland native beer. Overall, althought the hotel does not look good, let's being honest you do not want to spend time in the hotel when you have all Portland to discover. So, if u want a cheap hotel and you are not that picky about stuff, stay there.

“good location, good price and”

This is a Travelodge and to some degree what you might expect. Clean but worn. Aesthetically……meh. The woman at the front desk was good humored and personable. Big Plus! Did not try the attached restaurant. The location was great. Affordable. Could walk downtown in 15 or so minutes. Easy highway access. I would stay there again.

“Shows some age.”

This hotel is showing some age, but generally it's well maintained. Some of the fixtures in my room were heavily used, and showed signs of repairs, but overall, it was clean and comfortable enough for a guy on a road trip. It's close to Portland State University, and the offices on the south end of Downtown Portland. A few restaurants and the waterfront are within a moderate walking distance, but it's not really in the heart of any city life. It's close to an onramp onto the 405, and emergency vehicles passed by a few times each night I was there. There is a bar on the ground level that had a friendly karaoke crowd.
