“Awesome hotel!!!!”

The hotel was a perfect size and location near PDX. The hotel was quiet and the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly especially Suzanna, the food specialist, she made the meals a very enjoyable experience and delicious!!!!! The double room that I reserved was perfect size for 2 couples and we enjoyed sharing one large hotel room instead of two seperate rooms. The price was the best part!!!!! Very good deal!!! I would definately return again!

“Lovely hotel!”

The decor is very nice and up to date and clean. The breakfast is great and you can even have dinner on most days of the week included in price of room. We were given and upgraded room because we are Priority Club members, which is free to join. This is where we will stay when in Portland. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.

We could not have asked for a better stay at the Staybridge. 1st time here and Portland, and would definetely stay again. Good job to the whole staff.

“Top Notch Experience!”

Very comfortable place to stay solo or to share a room with a coworker. Breakfast was very fresh and healthy. Employees of the hotel were all smiling and greeting us everywhere we went. A shuttle was available to take transport us to and from the airport and the nearby mall/MAX rail line. Made things easy! Top notch experience at an extraordinary price.

“Great Value”

Traveling with 7 pepole on a trip to Portland we decided to get a 2 bedroom suite instead of seperate hotel rooms. One couple and their 2 kids stayed in one of the bedrooms with 2 queen beds, another couple with their toddler stayed in the other bedroom. The suite worked nice because there was a small living room with kitchenette that could be used if kids were napping. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. The condition of the hotel could use some maintneance. One of the closet doors was off of its track and the entry door to the room had 1/4" gaps where you could see into the hallway. Even though the rooms could have used some mainenance, they were clean and we felt safe. The pool is indoor in an accessory building so it can be used year-round which was nice to intertian the kids. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to drive into downtown from this location. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a larger room at a value price.

“Breakfast "full-service" buffet not worth the hype”

The room was awesome despite the clean diaper found in chair and toddler shorts found between bed & window. Enjoyed the kitchenette in the room especially during breakfast. Getting pastries & juice at the local Plaid Pantry would have resulted in a much better breakfast than going to the poorly stocked breakfast buffet of this hotel. Biggest & only complaint was the "hot breakfast buffet" was lacking in fresh food, quantity, & polite attendant. Front desk clerk spoke very highly and claimed it was better than the "usual continental breakfast done at other hotels". The "eggs" looked like McDonald's leftovers from unwanted McMuffins. I'll admit the sausage gravy was good but not on hard, stale biscuits. The waffles were good too but other guests left their mess and then the kitchen attendant had the gall to snap at us for not throwing away our trash. That lady had balls! The whole set up was a sham. Only onion/poppy bagels, some kind of muffin (only 2 were available & did not look appetizing), and some pound cake cut up in pieces. And the advertised Wolfgang Puck coffee was actually Boyds. BIG disappointment with the "complimentary hot breakfast buffet gets you going with a not-so-everyday spread, featuring a variety of savory delights and Wolfgang Puck Coffee".

“Good stop”

Suites are comfortable but a little small. I was there to conduct interviews and it served the purpose well. Evening happy hour was just ok as the food was poor.

“A Portland Secret”

This is one of those hotels that encourages folks to come to the lobby and hang out. It has a very nice breakast and three days a week a "sunset" hour. Very welcoming. I will say coming from the west it can be difficult to get off the interstate if you do not know how to get back. Easy to get in and out of the city. Very quiet hotel. Great hotel staff. By the way this hotel even has a sauna, didn't get a chance to use it though. Not sure I want too many people to know about this little secret:)

“hotel fine, but airport shuttle service poor”

The room was perfectly nice but we waited over 25 minutes at the airport after calling for the free shuttle to the hotel - every other hotel nearby had a shuttle that came by at least once - even the cheap hotels came and went while we waited - some hotel shuttles came 3x during the time that we waited for ours. It's a short distance to the airport and was 7:00 PM with little traffic - so i consider this poor service.

“Comfortable near Portland airport”

Decent hotel. The only one I could find when all other hotels were booked, so was worried about quality but it turned out to be quite comfortable
