Very nice staff and hotel. Great breakfast in the morning and close to restaurants and shops. Eash on off access to freeways. Will stay there again when in Portland.

I'm so glad we chose the Silver Cloud. Good location, friendly & helpful staff, nice rooms. Walking distance to numerous resturants, cafe's, and drinking holes. A nice starting point for exploring the area. Highly recommend this one.

This hotel was exactly what we wanted and more! Beautiful, quaint setting made us feel like we were with family. When we go back to Portland, we will stay only at the Silver Cloud Inn.

“Adorable neighborhood behind hotel”

I was a little scared when we pulled in off the street in front of the hotel but as soon as you take off on foot onto 23rd, you are on a tree lined street full of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shops, etc. and we ended up spending much more time there than in downtown Portland.

Nice to have continental breakfast provided. Free parking, so you can go in and out on excursions to various neighborhoods without having to repark (and pay again). Great neighborhood for walking, even alone in the early evening, because of all the people out walking to restaurants and shops. Lovely big park nearby, with a great dog off-leash area (if only I could bring the dog!) Very easy access to 405 north and southbound to get onto the freeway and to other areas in Portland.

“A Great Place to Stay in Portland”

If you want a good quality business style hotel in a convenient location, this could be for you. Rooms are large, comfortable and well equiped and the service and breakfast choice are very good. Obviously some of the flourishes of a premier price place are missing but this is more than compensated by the free, mostly undercover, car parking and the location, within an easy stroll of some of the best restaurants and cafes in Portland. If you want to go downtown, or anywhere else in Portland, you can leave the car and catch a bus outside the hotel, or walk a few blocks and get the trolly-car. What's not to like?
