“great deal and nice staff”

the motel was in very good shape, even had a cafe' that served complimentary breakfast for the motel customers. the rooms were bigger than i expected, extremely clean and quite comfortable. the furniture is basic, but great for one or two nights stay. the best thing of all was the staff, welcoming and friendly, always very accomodating. definitely recommended!

“Bravo to Portland!”

The hotel is conveniently located to all downtown Portland activities. The entire staff went above and beyond to help us enjoy our vacations. Kudos especially to Brandon and our maid, Maria! We enjoyed the pool, convenience of laundry services, and the Sacred Grounds Coffee shop attached. The breakfast was great. The room was VERY QUIET, especially given that we were right next to the freeway.

“Nice place near PDX”

We had a good experience with our one night stay after flying in to Portland. The staff is friendly and everything was as expected. Very good deal for the price.

“Great transitional motel”

This is a 2 - 3 star motel - nothing fancy, but it really tries to be. There is a very palatable continental breakfast in the mornings, and the rooms are nice and clean. The highlight of this motel for us was the amazing people they had working there. From the sweet girl they had driving our shuttle from the airport, to the very kind and sincere folks they had running the front desk, their hospitality, while limited by location and facilities, tried as hard as it could to be 5 star.

“Very handy location for Portland, good value for money.”

The Rodeway Inn (Portland Airport) is handily located next to a light rail station, so transport to Portland's downtown is easy and comfortable (and inexpensive). I found the staff friendly, courteous and helpful, and the shuttle service to the airport excellent. The continental breakfast was OK, and provided by the on-site cafe, which also provides tasty and imaginative sandwiches and soups. The only negative comment I have is that there was no refrigerator in the room; overall though, good value for the money.

“Convenient”

Very convenient over night stop to return rental car and make return flight from airport. There is a great restaurant and a gas station all within a block.
