“super hotel except for unfriendly airport shuttle driver”
This hotel was beautiful with great features (room has a convenient & very nice kitchen)!!! The front desk service, housekeeping & management were also excellent!! Parking is plentiful & convenient too!! We initially encountered such an unfriendly airport-hotel shuttle driver, who was also one of the late-nite front desk clerks, but everyone else who worked there were very friendly & helpful!! I highly recommend this hotel !!
“Very Impressed”
My husband, daughter and I spent a week at the Residence Inn by Marriot Airport. The location was perfect for taking transit into Portland with a MAX red line stop right outside the hotel. We also did a few day trips with our rental car. Only a half hour from Multnomah Falls and 90 minutes from Seaside. We started off each day with the complimentary breakfast buffet. A good selection of hot and cold choices. Monday and Wednesday evenings the staff put on a complimentary happy hour complete with snacks, wine and beer. The outdoor firepit was a lovely touch just outside the hotel lounge. Our room was equally nice with a fully equipped kitchen. You can find a decent grocery section at the Target just next door. Also have to recommend dinner at Farmer Dave's, just a fifteen minute walk or one MAX stop away (Cascade Station). They had great BBQ choices. I would highly recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott Airport.
“AMAZING ACCOMODATIONS @ AWESOME HOTEL”
I first stayed here shortly after they opened. I picked it bcuse it looked perfect and had one of teh best locations for someone like me who chooses not to drive. The closeness 2 max was excellent. I will totally return here as often as possible.

“Great location next to airport”
Somewhat hard to find the entrance to the hotel. Hotel was very clean and friendly. We had a short stay the night of our honeymoon and left the next morning on our flight. Its conveniently located close to the airport with a convenient shuttle. The room was great - had a small kitchen area and nice furniture. I would definitely stay there again.
“Enjoyable”
All staff that I dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Only one gentleman at the 'Bell staff' desk in the wee hours of the morning (4:30 a.m. ish) did not know the answer to my questions and was very rude!!! He did not have answers for other guests either... I saw him roll his eyes and throw up his arms a number of times.
“My New Residence [bad pun, i know]”
The people there were very sweet and helpful. I would totally recommend this hotel. IT is one of the best u can use in Portland, espec if u have a mega-early flight cause ur only a 6 minute shuttle to PDX. The rooms are immaculate, the beds knock u out in less than a minute and the fact ur kitchens are fully stocked is a mega help for us bachelors.
